That was one of the best heartbreak scenes ever depicted, in my opinion, in any media. I thought to myself, you are a piece of shit for making her feel that way.

It was really good and vvvverrrry painful how Nyx built the scene up with specific visual details.

The worst parts for me are when Layla pushes the MC away as the tears start to fall, she sobs in her room, into her hands - hiding her face - without bothering to take her heels off, Nyx then reveals her face for maximum impact for the gamer - tear smeared mascara running down her cheeks as she desperately calls out AND reaches out to Lexi like she's a lifeline as she enters the room, then that close up of her sobbing as she asks Lexi in that trembling voice, is there something wrong with me? (why doesn't he like me, she blames herself instead of the mc)

EDIT: Layla didn't want the MC to see her break down. So the MC didn't witness the full extent of her heartbreak. The MC got off easy.

There may be something short at the end of day though, maybe Slexi or Erynn. I doubt we'll see Cara or Nikki in this one at all.
