Intertwined has alot of "friendly" or "flirty" options with every LI, which assigns them certain love points or not. I don't see the friendly options as "being a dick" it's just keeping things friendly and not flirty.

There are my scumbag playthroughs, and then there's this one.

I was curious about what would happen if I made all the wrong choices in this game. How would Nyx deal with players who unknowingly or deliberately make all the wrong choices for a negative outcome?

These playthroughs go as far back as when I started playing this game in Episode 8. Many past and present players have tried a few versions of this kind of playthrough.

The main playthrough involves getting both Madison Springs groups - the MSU and MS High ladies - to hate you. Side choices would be: Getting the Riverside Ladies to Hate You through cheating, Not checking out or flirting or hooking up with any available side ladies, not being a good son and a good student.

There's a large difference between being a dick, and clearly flirting with her.

I've got the scripts for the game open now, these are all the possible Melissa points. Green are what I'd consider not being a dick.
Ep1:
Give her a hug +2
Apologise again +2
Flirt +2
Running Total: 6 (4)

Ep2:
Look closer at her clearly see through bikini +2
Running Total: 8 (4)

Ep4a:
Payback (throw her in the pool) +2
Running Total: 10 (6)

Ep6:
Calling her beautiful +2 (This is borderline when you have a more neutral option, but maybe MC is just very expressive)
Running Total: 12 (8)

Ep10:
Joking to Erynn about being a couple +2 (Again borderline, but he kisses her. Again, very expressive.)
Running Total: 14 (10)

To activate Melissa's scene, you need to have hugged your mum in Chapter 13, after returning home from Riverside, this requires 11 points, meaning you had to at least flirted with her. I'd agree that it does feel like you lack the choice, but throughout the course of the game, if you have enough points, MC will have thoughts about Mel giving him a boner, or visibly showing he's into her, she will have dreams about the MC twice, there's enough foreshadowing that something might happen.

Yes, the update is small, but there are quite a lot of events and they are important - Andres arrival, John is Erinn and Iris father, Ethan knows a lot, and the scene with Erinn's letter is incredibly touching.

I think that Iris has a lot of self-love, and her interest in Erynn is perhaps emblematic of that. I think she will love having a sister. I also don't think she'd have a problem with either sharing the MC with Erynn or fooling around with her half-sister...

Damn dude. I am learning new things about the game from your posts. So Val will show up and save the MC even if you don't get quite enough points at the track meet but choose to help her up while at the park with Nikki? Or do you need both lots of points when on the Nikki path?
Also yes I don't think that we are going to be able to have our cake and eat it when it comes to Brooke. We will have to decide if she gets an Emily scene or a scene with the MC.

My mistake for not writing things clearly. Val will show up to save the MC only if you get all her camp points, plus the park points scene with Nikki. If you miss out on any camp points or the park points, John will be the MC's savior.

I'm fine with either. One scene will piss off the incest stans, the other scene will make me put Brooke in my top 5 hahahha.
