Apart from that, Nyx said there was big hint to X's age in Ep 14.

There is only 2 scenes mentioning Ximena in Episode 14, the one where Val admits she knows her.

And, what I believe is the hint is in the scene where young MC slaps Melissa's butt.

Mel says she has a new client 'Young Actress Ximena Vergara". She's starring in a 'Teen Show".

So if she's in a teen show at that point she can't be more than 8-10 years older than MC (who is same age as Val).

Making it impossible for her to Val's mother.

Hmmm... It looks like Ximena is 25-30 years old. And yes, she can't be Val's mother, but she can easily be Val's sister. (I always thought Ximena was older, 30-35 years old)

Val says that her Mom got pregnant with her just after high school. So if Ximena is indeed 28 (as Nyx has apparently said) then Val's Mom would have had to have her when she was 8? I think step-mom is more likely, as in married to Val's dad.

Edit: Another thing I just remembered is Val says that she is an only child.

Nyx loves making sneaky changes... i'm 99% sure this wasn't included before.


She always mentioned inviting Valeria and some other girl called Mackenzie/Kenz... but Dani here i'm almost certain is new.
When Nyx creates a new character she loves doing sneak re-edits to as if to say "this character has always been here".

I think the same thing will happen to Gabi's married/divorced status soon.

Pretty much the only known character left the MC could have been paired with is Daniela, yeah? I think Nyx showed us that all the other named characters were paired up before he got called away.

Daniela just makes sense to me because otherwise it means introducing yet another character and the cast is big enough already.

Maybe I forgot someone, idk.

I think the teacher was about to call Val's partner when the MC gets called into the principal's office.
Besides Val and Dani every other character has been called Elena, Layla, Tori... even Darryl.

It could be Dani's moment, she not only got a name, she also got a backstory, and (in typical Intertwined fashion) she got family connections...

The chances of that are crazy small, Val is a quiet girl and so is Dani.

The only threesome that has been cooking is LayLena, and maybe Tori plus the other black chick.

Even Erynn+Alexis looks extremely unlikely, maybe it will be possible on ASP, on normal runs these girls are very attached and slightly weary of each other.

I had initially intended to say something like "I'd need to see more of Dani" but decided against it. You've worded the thought perfectly though - it's not just a straight comparison, and I definitely want to see some of Dani minus hat - remember that Val was mostly "beanie girl" until we got to know her, maybe there's a similar pattern to follow here...

I think it would have been funny if Nyx had given her the name Hattie instead. We've been calling her Hat Girl for so long, I would have cracked up laughing if it turned out to be Hattie.
