you can get the scene on any route provided you fulfill 3 conditions. You need to have enough points with Mel, have to agree to the Emily/John date, and you need to compliment Mel in the latest update, then you'll get the scene.

Nah, mod is perfectly fine and I'm happy with it. Gone through whole game dozens of times, know most paths, but did experience problems with it already (few updates ago it wasn't possible to trigger Gabi scene during training camp, MC would just leave her without option to talk to her).
No, most kids aren't asshole brats and they let their moms live their lifes. Emily's free as a bird. MC's father isn't around and he's also not making any attempts to have a relationship with her. Just assholes demands the own mother has to be a nun. To be honest, I find it very odd that Emily even asks MC. He has no saying in it. Not the tiniest. Sure, I know why she did. My inclination is stalker because of how quickly he found Val. He also seemed to have an unhealthy fascination with Erynn since his shtick was trying to keep her distanced from all other friends when they were younger.
