Hahaha.

No worries. Miles was a character Nyx added to the game in the more recent updates. He didn't exist during the training camp chapter. I was also, "Who the fuck is Miles?", until the Val date.

LSC82 and I have a joke, if Miles replaces us in the relay competition, our team is fucked.

That's one of the weaknesses of the game. The MC being unable to make new, healthy, male relationships. Is he wary because Ethan's bullying when he was a kid?

I am still most curious to see how far the "MC celebrity" will be taken and how each girl reacts.
Minor characters making comments at the MC sounds fun, like that Gianna chick saying something "looking good on that magazine" on our next interaction with her, which could lead places... Places like the employee's bathroom or the cleaning closet :cool:

Miles 100% didn't exist until then, now he's in a lot of background shots, both in the current episode and the remade one... like saying "he was always here you just didn't pay attention".

And yeah, most of us are gonna click really fast when Nyx puts men lockeroom scenes...
If she adds a Val, Layla and yes MilesEdgeworth even Tori showering after training we are gonna analyse this shit in every detail :p
Hopefully Daniela can be convinced to rejoin the team :cool:

I hope Nyx leans into how out of place he looks and makes him a horrible sprinter.

He does have the build of a middle distance runner, his posture could be explained by him just finishing a 10,000m training session. But then Nyx doesn't have anyone built for the throwing events.

far from optimal to be 10000m runner.

Thank you for the information and the education. In my ignorance, I kept discounting that track and field athletes have different types of bodies based on their specialties. The earlier versions of the game and even the redo have been sprinter focused. I hope Nyx can give us a bigger track meet that involves the other track and field events beyond sprinting.

The Ramirez sisters have been checking out our MC since their first encounters with him. So even with SO MANY lady characters, and the fact that Daniela was INTERTWINED so late in the game, she's still a possibility since Nyx loves her drama between siblings. (Layla is present both times he gets checked out by the Ramirez girls.)

It makes sense that MC only really interacts with those involved in sprinting events being a sprinter himself, the only crossover in training would be long/triple jumpers working on their run up speeds. The other events don't rely on straight line speed but rather focus on timing and upper body strength (throwing events and pole vault) or endurance (middle/long distance runners).

But it would be good to see other background athletes that MC doesn't interact with and maybe see their events in the background of scenes at a meet.

Our MC did join the "Track and Field Club". So far we've only seen two types of track events. Maybe the rendering load would be too much for Nyx to show all the other events?

So I definitely agree with you that showing background athletes and their particular track and field events at a meet would work better.
