Milfs look too much like kids and dress like them. son looks older than his mother. Makes them seem generic. the younger ones also look too similar. milfs need more work to separate them from the younger characters, at least visually. while i get the goal is to have attractive older women, adding some indicators of age, details, and maturity in dress fleshes this out more. different ideas of "sexy". explore more body types. there are plenty of mature women who are very gorgeous for references. overall characters need more diversity and detail. these generic yoga moms are a bit tired, along with the repetitive young girl who loves shopping and bathing suits. there does seem to be some good sincerity building here, but if you cant connect with the audience they wont care about your characters. they need a huge dose of realism brought to their behaviors and bios to give them depth and make each unique beyond her hairstyle. I understand the male fantasy idea, but the biggest issue is most characters look and feel a bit generic. take more time with your models. they should offer different fantasies with different people. Daz offers truckloads of stuff to distinguish them more.

At the end of the day your issue is very subjective. For me I don't see them as being too similar or generic they feel rather different and unique to me. The only one I can see is maybe Alexis and her mother being a little to similar and plain looking but idk I love that personally. As it's nice to have an average looking LI that is also hot.

Lexi's model was an older gen daz model too iirc compared to some of the girls like Val

When Nyx decides to tinker with haircuts/hairstyles the results can vary wildly o_O
Luckily she nailed a whole bunch of them on the first try, Layla, Elena, Nikki, Gabi, Alexis still have their first hairstyle as their main.

As for "it needs more variety", Nyx didn't make the characters looking at a spreadsheet and i'm ok with it.
Despite this we still ended up with a fair amount of diversity, we have the literal model who wears fancy dresses often(she also has her everyday clothes), the rocker chick who loves leather, the punk who wears alternative clothing, the sporty girls...

Not many MILFs available, only Melissa is an option (and she literally does yoga lol), the others, Emily and Adriana aren't on the menu, and others like Ximena have really minor roles.

MilesEdgeworth maybe you found a friend to help the chorus for a chubster lol.
