Enzo was the driver, and him being so close to Santi is what led to Gabi splitting from Santi.

(No idea, just joking as I'm not going to actually try to make a prediction/theory.)

I doubt that Nyx would have it so that Alexis and Nathan slept together. Even if it was before the MC the anti-NTR crowd would go ballistic, well not that Nyx would care she likes winding people up honestly. I just don't think that it would fit this game or the Lexi path very well.
He most likely saw her on one of her trips to see Lakeyn, just like the MC did.

It's weird that up until now Alexis haven't got anyone significant in her backstory, or much of a backstory, just a girl who hangs out with Erynn and got kissed by the MC 5 years ago...
Nothing about what happened the last 5 years, no exes(she clearly wasn't a virgin on the plane), nothing that left scars on her...

Santi being involved, directly or indirectly would be interesting... since he was part of the family due to his connection to Gabi.
He could've convinced Dani+mom to let it go, take some money.
Dani seeing the sports universe up close becomes a little disgusted and stops competing.

Could be any of the Monroes... Layla is the one that doesn't drive.

I don't think she really had many (if any) serious boyfriends as Enzo was overly protective.

She also quit volleyball because of an ankle injury, which is also why she stopped her jogging with her dad.

It's a shitty empty backstory that's what it is, tells us nothing about who she is now, creates no tension or problems.
Also Enzo and Adriana are very welcoming to the MC, don't know how they would be psycho dad-mom before.

The tension was how her father would react. She'd never brought another boy home to her parents before.

We don't really need much beyond "she was worried about her father's response to his girl growing up". Also doesn't she mention not being sure if guys wanted to be with her, or if they had ulterior motives to get close to Zo?

It's nice to have a path that isn't 24/7 drama of blackmail/threats from exes etc...

There's no backstory for Lexi because she wasn't planned to be a full LI so Nyx hadn't planned out her story as much as the other LIs. I think it's something that Nyx should have fixed while doing the rework of the earlier episodes but so far she hasn't addressed it.

The only LIs who have backstory are Erynn, Iris, Nikki (we see her ex) and Valeria's was recently explored. There's nothing for Alexis, Elena or Cara. Layla could go either way as we know she has a stalker.

I don't think we really need "The Silmarillion" of every LIs past.

She forgot to add a background for Alexis after making her a full LI, just like she forgot Layla's stalker and forgot to make plans to handle Layla-Erynn combo.

I would prefer some development over this emptyness, but if you like emptyness just to be problem free... more power to you.

Not when your backstory can be summed up as "she's friends with Erynn and once kissed the MC".

The only tension with Alexis is external, if you are planning to jump ship to Erynn, Iris or Nikki.

It's not, but this action and subsequent ones also made her a bit of shitty friend, something i think it is worth exploring more in depth.

You can disagree all you like, but it's an objective fact.
There is nothing known about Elena and Gabi's past and little to no progress beyond being a boy toy for the latter.
The only backstory for Layla is some guy wanted to date her, she refused and he never relented and started stalking her, but at least she has development.
We've just learned a small part of Val's backstory, but her progress is a slow burn.

It's funny how you mention Alexis' tension is all external, like that isn't the case with all LIs.
Erynn has the blackmail, Alexis, Iris, Mel
Layla has the stalker, Alexis, Elena, Val, Gabi, Tori
Elena has no time to date between cheerleading and babysitting, no need to mention Layla

In fact, I can't think of a relationship in this game where the problems are internal between MC and his partner. All the problems come from outside forces. We haven't even been properly introduced to the next whirlwind of tension, Mr Zane Donovan.
