Nyx hasn't changed her discourse on who is a LI since she first spoke of it(fairly sure Iris didn't even exist yet when Nyx first posted the list), i think she regrets spilling on who actually will have a happy ending.
I doubt she ever comes out and say "Gabi, Val and Iris have been upgraded to full LIs", that woman loves to be mysterious and clarifying things like that is the opposite of mysterious.

Nyx will keep all fans of Val, Gabi and Iris on the edge of their seats until the end.
All these non-LI get more stuff than certain confirmed LIs (coff Elena coff).

For the record, given the strong connection she has with the MC i think she deserves better than simply being a trip mine for other girls like Alexis or Erynn, so i hope she does get "upgraded" but i doubt we are getting any official word on it.

yep it's been a long time since that list, so I'm somewhat hopeful. I think the conclusion of the Ethan plot will alleviate some of the concerns I have one way or the other. She's changed her mind before about things.

Rachel's death feels so disconnected. It's hard to imagine the VN going into the death of a character like Iris or Val and doing it justice. I've talked about it on other threads, how there will be a death and it gets a few lines of dialogue and then pretty much forgotten unless it's the focal point of the story. My best friend passed away suddenly in 2016. It messed me up for months. To this day I'm still not 100% over it. When a major character in a story dies, I expect it to have gravity and matter. I'm just not sure it will here.

the way that ethan told Zach that Val would be tough to get tells me she may not be untouchable, but she is as close to untouchable by Ethan as one can get. I don't see her dying. If anybody is dying its somebody not super important to the plot.

realistically, John is way up there. Iris too to a lesser degree, especially if she learns of Erynn being her sister. She already knows what's up. Val is the last of my top three for this, she already had two run-ins with him (well, depending). I doubt it's any of the confirmed LIs.

I was set in Layla and Nikki for my first run, but now after getting to know Val.. I'm such a man-whore smh
And it's not like a harem game where I can have a few of them, I have to choose one and lose the other which is pissing me off bc Val made everything muchh harder lol

Sounds like you are pissing yourself off, rather than the game.
This game will require multiple saves and runs to fully get to know all of the girls. Don't beat yourself up with an "I picked the wrong one" attitude, there really is no such thing. Just enjoy that run and then move on to the next one.

Maan idk.. I'm used to being a man-whore in these games until i like someone and settle down.. I just finished RoL and BaD before that and I was going crazy there until Jasmine and Bella.. here having to play 1 girl per run is torture when there's so many good ones..

Only way John dies is if they're still trying to play the keep erryn away from the mc game that people have grown sick of. Iris fits the bill in that she's not a li and she's close enough to everybody to be an effective kill, however that would mean introducing her to ethan killing her than getting rid of Ethan in short order not sure if theres time for all that. But if anybody with prominent screen time were to die, it would be her.

The Ethan drama will be wrapped up, but I really think Zach is gonna stick around. Made to be seen the error of his ways by the end of it. Maybe the gang makes him eat shit for a while. He becomes a true outcast before they ultimately let him back in. Something like that.

My condolences for your loss. I also lost my a dear friend suddenly in 2018. Like you, I still am not over it. Each person's grief is unique to them but I feel for your loss.

I agree that Rachel's death doesn't seem to matter in the game outside of being used as a device for Ethan to get arrested - that is if he had anything to do with it. If you took her out of the game completely you could figure out a different way to take down Ethan.

I agree that deaths in AVNs, novels, films, etc. have to matter and should bear emotional and character development weight. I also agree that the death of any confirmed lady or possible lady will be very difficult to pull off. It will probably come off as a cheap shock tactic and will most likely backfire with the players and fans of the victim.

It's genuinely one of my favourite scenes, just for the gut punch element of it. I thought it was very well done, and is the sort of thing I wouldn't mind seeing more of in games where you can romance multiple girls at the same time. It's genuinely one of my favourite scenes, just for the gut punch element of it. I thought it was very well done, and is the sort of thing I wouldn't mind seeing more of in games where you can romance multiple girls at the same time. Sooner or later, someone's going to find out, and chances are they also know each other.

Absolutely, it catches us by surprise because we've played other AVNs and well they tend to let you have your cake and eat it, confronting you on your decisions is extremely rare.
Typically the girls inside a game is an all you can eat buffet, you can fuck every girl around with impunity and they never say anything about it.
You still get a choice near the end to pick your favorite.
And that's when they don't agree to a freaking harem

Getting confronted by Layla-Alexis shocks you because it goes against AVN standards and establishes the tone and expectations of this game.

In any realistic setting this was clearly a situation of stretching believability waaaaay too far, dating 2 sisters and expecting that they wouldn't find out, Nyx did well to establish that "it can(and will) happen here".

We should just play the game instead of worrying if "character X" can have a good ending.
Good old "it's the journey, not the destination".

I already made a post on this, i don't think Nyx will ever come out and say "Iris/Val/Gabi have been added to the official LI list" because saying this ruins the mistery, it's useless worrying about this "list".

They might already be endgame options, personally i think they deserve it(and they are getting more screentime than certain "official LIs"), but Nyx won't openly state this.
If anything i think Nyx wishes she could take back the moment she gave the list.

Don't think she'll disappear, but guessing she might either go on a date with Zach (persuaded / blackmailed by Ethan) or it will look like she's seeing someone else (gym / motorbike guy?).
