Maybe he can end up with the girl you discard, be it Erynn, Nikki, maybe others... don't know how that would be received by the community at large...
He seems to not want to dip his foot into the HS girl pond however, for professional reasons, he doesn't wanna "do a Gabi"
Zane can take a shot with Nikki or if the MC has screwed up with Nikki and been caught cheating with another lady:
The MC could go to the beach one day and see Zane giving Nikki surfing lessons.
I don't think Erynn or Nikki would actually do anything with him, even if you messed up with them. Like you say the girl would look terrible and it would be completely out of character, particularly for Erynn.
Think it would be more a way of making the MC feel a bit insecure and then having to deal with that. Agree it would work better if it's kept pretty mild though.

To me his hesitation meant he was a dick to her(duhh) and obviously that makes it tricky for him to convince her to do anything.
Whatever happened he knows he didn't set a good first impression.
Best runner of the girls, and Ethan doesn't seem particularly athletic getting his ass kicked by the MC repeatedly.she is objectively very fast though
Depending on how nice of guy Nyx wants to make him, he can even give Erynn-MC his blessing.
He surely will have seen the photoshoot from Erynn with the MC, he's works as a model, he was booked for that... congratulate them, say they look good together...
Even for Nikki i think it's late to have her "considering a switch", doesn't mean he can't take his shot(this is where it might become interesting if you fuck up).
Does he put 2 and 2 together and realize the guy with Nikki at the beach is the same guy from Erynn's photoshoot?
Definitely too late for a "i don't know which guy i like more...", some mild scenes of Erynn and him having fun and the MC being a little insecure about it would be cute, but you can't really do more than that.
Same thing with Nikki, allow him to flirt, but can't really have her being seriously thinking about it.
This is where fucking up might play a role, if you fuck up and ruin the relationship he's there to pick up the pieces.

True that it would be good for Erynn to apologise to Zane as well. He seems like a nice guy when he's appeared so far.
For the photoshoot I wondered if he found out that Erynn was the other model and bailed because of that. He maybe just didn't want to do an intimate photo shoot with an ex girlfriend who dumped him without any explanation, the hurt nose could have just been an excuse on the phone... He didn't sound too annoyed with Erynn when he ran into her in the car park though.

Exactly, if he had convinced her to turn on MC in any way he wouldn't doubt his ability to set Zach up with her.
I hope not, but half the story is pointless drama that could have been avoided if people talked to each other...

Well, he had todo it ... fix her both holes or they would both Blub, Blub. Ya know, holes in ya Board is not really something ya want.
Erynn didn't know who she was working with(Ethan probably wanted to surprise her) but we don't know if Zane did...
And yes, he seemed ok with everything when he ran into Erynn, whatever happened he forgave and moved on.
Zane reassuring Erynn that he's ok with it and hopes that she finds happyness should help "set her free".
Erynn also seems perfectly normal after running into her ex-BF, it didn't shake her in anyway, she still feels the same about her relationship with the MC, isn't "weighting her options"(like i said, too late for that).
When he never met Valeria he's perfectly confident, probably gonna say he can make her a model, flash his cash... believes that will work.
When he had the meeting he's "uhhh that's gonna be tough".
He knows what happened between them made it unlikely that she will listen to him.
I believe he made threats about what is gonna happen to her and the MC.
