He asked the mothers not to tell Erynn he returned because he did not want Erynn to know... ...he didn't want to see, confront, or have anything to do with her. It appeared to me that MC still was angry with Erynn over the flower incident; as the player, we know he misread that but the MC didn't realize this yet. To me, his resentment due to Erynn's "hurtful act" was alive and well.

I recognize this defies logic since the MC is Mel's next-door neighbor and landscaper. It's inevitable the MC will meet Erynn again. But at this point in the game the MC still isn't making very sound choices when his emotions are involved.

It has elements of him pushing his luck for sure. He can get away with it because she already likes him so much, he also has that pretty privilege. There's one scene where Val even says "You're lucky I like you." when he is clearly pushing his luck, I just wish that we could reply with "I like you too." Is that really too much to ask for?
There are alot of other elements though to the date. I like how comforting we can be as the MC after those two idiots show up. There are some really tender moments.

He was at his worst for much of the beach date... sometimes creepy, sometimes annoying.
But some good moments managed to save it.

After she strips down, i think he is right to push his luck a bit, this is clearly a girl in the mood to play.
It doesn't feel like he pushed her beyond her limits, pretty privilege or not.

Valeria originally didn't like anyone touching or grabbing her, but clearly that doesn't apply to the MC anymore, he's free to touch (within limits, not talking about fingering without asking her first ).

Erynn has been in the driver's seat for much of the hotter parts of their dates, she suggests showering together and washing each other, she invites him into her bathroom later... Erynn is gradually expanding her limits, getting more comfortable with these things.

Horny pretty boy who wants to do good and has a thing for the girl next door? He's kinda whiny, but other than that, he's a bit of a cliché, but he fits in this world and he allows the love interests of this world to shine. So he fits into the story well.

For me, the MC is neutral, and that fits the world he’s in. In my opinion, there’s nothing that makes me want to defend him, but also nothing that gives me a reason to hate him. All of his current actions are explained or justified (some better, some worse).
The only thing that really bothers me in the whole game is the MC’s behavior before taking Layla’s virginity and being on Elena’s route at the same time. That’s the one moment where I was seriously disappointed in the MC and had a really bad opinion of him. Because that choice was supposed to break Layla’s heart, but not in such a brutal way. He could have rejected Layla, but not like that

Jokes aside, he's pretty neutral, slightly whiny and overemotional, but nothing that leaves too much of a negative impression.

only thing I dislike about him is his tattoo's. For me he is one of the better MC's and I tend to forget or not care for most MC's out there. Then again a fuckboy MC isn't my main path and he is a pretty decent guy on those solo paths.
