I got once John and once Val as my hero in this sequence. The Val scene ends very romantic.
As i remember to get Val it does not matter if u have Alexis or Layla as GF u just need to get enough hits on Val at every chance. One guy just posted a few days ago here that there is also a third option i wanna try out where u get only hit by Zach and Ethan just curse you verbally without a fight. This happenes if u never help Erynn anyway and may u must be on Laylla path.

The Val scene was funny as hell. She comes in like Miss Piggy and just goes "hi ya!" with the flying jump kick and then dude pulls her hair like it is two girls fighting. I don't think that I liked Val much until that scene. She was just another girl in a game too full of girls until that point. It was the first thing that made her stick out from the crowd.

Hold the phone. I've seen where people are talking about how your relationship with Lexi ends when she finds out your messing around with Layla or something like that. But I just got to the point where Erynn found out about the Lexi and the MC. I would have thought that, when the MC confronts Lexi, that it would be the end of the relationship.

Cool. I guess I ended it because I chose the angry approach. Liked the Lexi character, but since Erynn is the main LI of the story, I thought only fitting to make my first run through focusing on her mainly. I'll play through again for different girls later on.

Pretty wholesome experiences there:
The main LI of the story, the babe some consider the girl talked about above
well, she is constantly seeing some other dudes,
kicking MC out because she needed to think only to let another dude inside ..
pretty sure that is what girls with many guys do every day.

Then she she goes out with another dude, guess going out with MC was not what she wanted.

She keeps going to parties with different men every time, pretty sure anyone seeing her knows what she does.

MC cannot be any less angry after so many duded keep taking the supposed LI out while he gets the boot.

To each their own, I guess.

Yes the approach to Val was a little carefully written in my opinion...seems the Dev Nyx has some special ideas regfarding the relationship between Val and MC..one of the rumors is that Val is Gabi's daughter and Gabis husband is real father of MC so that makes Val and MC.......

Thats why i think the best eritten LI from the very beginning until current end of chapter 9 is Lexi.
Of course a lot of girls are maybe mor interesting but the script so far works and fits best with Lexi. She is as GF the best integrated character so far. May Nyx will add deeper details also to other LI's later.

I agree with some of what your saying. But maybe she goes out with these other guys and pushes the MC back because she doesn't feel like she deserves his love because of what happened when he first confessed it all those years ago. Now, to fill that void, she goes out with other men, subconsciously knowing that it's the MC she really wants to be with. But afraid the MC will reject her like she did. I don't know. Just my opinion. I haven't gotten very far yet, just had the mom tell the MC who his father is. But from what I've read, sounds like a part of it is Ethan's blackmail as well. Maybe he is making her go out with some of these men.

Most of Val's reactions when Gabi is around and the formal way she responds the Agent after Zack embarrasses her in front of him, makes me be 99% sure there is some connection there. Don't know if its mother-daughter, aunt, but something is going on.

Problem with any of her antics is that MC is kept wanting but fed up with her rejections.
Right now, MC is a bomb of rage because she is essentially cucking him with all the other guys.
This game is well made to push MC further and further away, which she does every chance she gets.
MC cannot get too much of a win here and there before she goes out with some other dude.
MC is helpless and is angry to feel so much of what he is and what he does just does not register with her.
In his life, he broke any and all communications once she showed him she was more interested in ethan,
that has not changed, time and time again she shows MC she is more interested in ethan,
whatever the interes is, much more invested in that dude, the same one she rejected MC over,
than she ever showed interest in MC.

I also had to learn from Erryn Fans that its a little more complicated to understand the actual relationship between Erynn and MC. There is a dialog scene where we learn that Erynn was trying to contact MC and writing him letters after he left. Then there is obviousley the fact that Erynn is not with Ethan and never had sex with him. But she had a boyfriend Zane ( i guess thats the name) and when she had first time sex with Zane, Ethan was stalking her and recorded the video of her defloration. And with this video now Ethan is blackmailing her to do things she doesn't really want to do but she must do it otherwise Ethan will publish the video that she cant get any other job.
Also for me all about Erynn is not really written on a way tvat i feel close to her. My opinion is that the Alexis path is the best written currently throughout the whole story with many details, romance, sex and surprises.

One of the good things about the Alexis path is that it is very believable and easy to understand. She meets a guy who she thinks is hot, only to find out that it was someone she knew as a kid who she thought was adorable and sweet. She's a bit conflicted because knows that she should tell him the truth about her and Erynn, but she decides to be a little bit selfish and things quickly spiral into a bigger problem. From there, she just keeps avoiding the problem by putting it off and telling herself that she can deal with it later when the time is right. Everyone knows how is it is to get stuck in a procrastination loop, so even if people think she is being foolish, they can at least understand why she keeps freezing up like a deer in the headlights instead of biting the bullet. She's afraid that all of the fun she's having will come to an end when she tells the truth, so she just wants to hold on a bit longer. It's selfish, but understandable.

Another good example of a simple and effective path is the one for Elena. She meets a nice guy, but never considers him as a potential boyfriend because she's too busy for one. He starts to date her best friend, which leads to them spending a lot of time together. She sees how nice he is, and has a lot of fun with him, and starts to get feelings for him. Which puts her in an awkward position because she also sees how happy her friend is and doesn't want to ruin that. It's simple, easy to follow, and understandable.

An example of a route that's a bit too complicated and difficult to understand would be Erynn's path. There are a bunch of small details that make it different from a standard love triangle, and it gets a bit too convoluted for me. I don't understand how Ethan could almost break up Alexis and Erynn by claiming to have slept with Alexis? Why would Erynn be upset by that if it was before Ethan started blackmailing her? And how does Erynn think that we can save her from Ethan if we aren't allowed to say or do anything about it? And when did she start to view the MC in a romantic way? Did she call dibs on him sometime in the five years they weren't in contact with each other? He was only twelve when he left, so that would be a bit odd, no?

There's a lot of unanswered questions about Erynn, and they keep me from getting invested in her story. Maybe things will change when some of these questions are answered, but for now I just don't care.

Why the the person being blackmailed are never being blackmailed for doing something wrong that will actually put them in trouble if it comes out? It gets to a point where the damage done by the blackmail is far worse than the damage that would be done otherwise. That's so dumb.
What was Ethan going to do with the video, anyway? ...Was he going to show it to Erynn's family? Was he going to distribute a copy to every place she gets a job? Was he going to upload it to some amateur porn site?

You have to suspend your disbelief for that plot to happen. Though there are several cases IRL where a girl (generally young) is blackmailed into sex with a nude of her.

I've not jumped to any conclusions regarding the video that was shown by Ethan because Erryn hasn't seen it. Which as MC pointed out, is silly. Who knows who is in the video? But since

I also don't care much. If Erynn had a normal sexually active life, which often includes sleeping with people you regret doing it with, that's fine. If she was blackmailed into sex with people she didn't want to do it with in the first place that is certainly less fine. Any way you slice it, Ethan is slime and needs a good bruising.

One thing makes me upset.

We all remember perfectly well what happens at the beginning of Episode 8, when the MC plays a double game with two best friends and finds himself involved in a big tearful drama. As a result, he breaks both their hearts and is left with nothing.

In fact, we end up with two main LIs. Okay, it's pretty clear to get. But the game doesn't end there. But we can't not interact with them at all after that in such a storyline which is even called Intertwined (logically). And I really was and still am interested in finding out what will happen next.

And so, after John helps us beat up Ethan and his buffoons, we see the familiar scene with the conversation at a bar. And here I really hoped to read something like this: I promised I'll be here for her and help her figure it all out. But then some shit happened. I cheated on her with her best friend and lied to both of them, and they found out about it accidentally. They both broke up with me that morning (in another case, Lexi did it later on the phone). Erynn and I didn't see or talk from that moment. I have no idea what to do now. I have to and promised to help her, but will she want to accept my help after what I did...?

But it triggered the way as if the MC's refused to help her with blackmailing (???). I can get it that technically we lost Erynn back then. But then why is there a distortion of in-game reality? It turns out that Erynn's story was over, but it still continues artificially and in a different scenario? So bad the plot here doesn't develop based on the experience really happened... Or is there still hope?

You are fully right...i can read the story like that Erynn never was with Ethan but she got upset and broke up friendship with Alexis when Ethan claimed she slept with him. Thats unlogic. I also dont understand if at the time when MC arrives Alexis and Erynn are still best friends or already seperated by Ethans blackmailing. Its too weird. I just found that for Alexis the Dev has spent her time to really implement her girlfriend path most thouroughly until the current end of game. The thing with the flowers and first kiss were very deep. Even a special approach to Iris you can experience with Alexis.

MC naver had any agency in this whole game when it comes to ethan and his antics.
MC is thrown out while ethan is let inside. Remember that scenes, it shows what it is like for MC.
MC cannot insinuate himself into her life, as she keeps kicking him out.
Much like in his youth, he is out as a romantic interest, broke, upset and hurt to his core.
Much like us, the players, MC has no way of any meaningful intervention once she shuts him out.
Just like parents about a kid upset - he/she will never listen to a word they say.
Remember MC never listenes to a word his ma sayd after he shut her out.
MC never listened to anyhting about eyrin once she chose to stay and talk to ethan and simply ignored MC on his own birthday, which she ditched in favor of hanging out with ethan ... why would she not care about MC at all and hang with the
big boys and girls who have systematically driven MC out of her life .. now it got permanent.
