Did you change mods? That's what happened to me, too. I had to replay my routes because my saves kept giving the same error messages.

I can confirm that mod errors are indeed causing problems with saves... I started the Layla/Gabi route and didn't get the jealous scene in the classroom (only the dream sex)...
I quickly started a new game (thanks Ctr.) and that's how it worked. I have a lot of mixed saves, but I don't play them because I'm sure I'll get these errors again, and I have to start a new game at ep.15 anyway...

Zane is the surfer dude, brother of Brooke the clerk, works as a model, ex-bf of Erynn(the guy on the tape) and teacher at the school(and all the girls have the hots for him).
As you can tell, his pre-introduction work is already made, by Nyx own choices she made him a kind of important character despite having minimal screen time, why let it go to waste?
He doesn't need to be a cackling mustache twirling villain that only exists to screw us over...
But instead someone that due to circumstances competes for the affections of the same girls you want... a rival instead of a villain.
He doesn't even need to be a bad guy, just unfortunately in the way.
I'll take that over a one note villain 10 times out of 10.

Like i said before, relationship stuff is Nyx strong suit(imo), girls jealous of other girls, that's the special sauce... Police stuff maybe not so much, so the message of that particular plot line kinda got lost in the boredom if i'm honest.

I like Erynn, i think she's a sweet girl that has been through a lot, stuck in a bad situation which she was scared to tell others, and didn't know how to get out.
Good characters can have flaws(need flaws) and things to overcome, just making them cool and confident from day 1 is easy.
Cool and confident also wouldn't work for a character in the place Nyx put Erynn, it wouldn't make sense this girl who is suffering being super brash and confident with everything else.

Greatly disagree on "bad choices" though, what bad choice she made? Have a bf?
She was taped against her will and blackmailed into doing things against her will, those weren't by choice.

Also if Ethan came from an ultra rich and powerful family we would have already known I doubt he would use the reserved approach of Layla and Lexi, but more

I just made Nikki cry, read Erynn's letter, and now I feel like a walking pos.

Aside from hurting Nikki, the ultimate insult to the ultimate injury we inflicted on her is that she said we were worse, lower than Man-Bun.

My dumb ass behaving like the MC I completely forgot that Nikki has been cheated on. One of the reasons our relationship started was because she asked our help to get back and get over Man-Bun Aiden. And I just did the same thing to her.

This render is one of Nyx's best along with the "You're a piece of shit" scene. Nyx really captures the dark and terrible vibe of a woman who is confronting you over your cheating. My heart caught in my throat when I saw Nikki's face on the line and she held up Mira's panties. The scene is spot on. It reminded of some of my past experiences where I made wrong decisions.

Of all the girls in this game....in my humble opinion Elena has the best ass!
And there are some mighty fine asses in this game....

I think that's a wide consensus for this thread. I'm a Val guy, and there are other great asses like you said, but Elena is the Ass Above All Asses (quadruple AAAA, everyone else is just triple AAA).

I agree. That's a very good compromise for that path and it will be a good parallel to the Gabi path-ala-forbidden love affair. Gabi's path will be a public tragedy with her bearing most of the consequences if you both get caught. Mel and you will be potentially a private tragedy.

Definitely respect the list.
For me-
Alexis - First kiss(even if MC doesn't remember it) meant something to her, and that pulls at my heart strings.
Nikki - probably the most well rounded female character with zero baggage and a good heart.
Elena - definitely from the younger group, but shes also the most mature of the group because of always having to sacrifice to take care of her brothers and help the mother with raising them. She always puts others first and that's a maturity that gets missed and I find attractive.

Melissa is a definite grown up and super hot. Just too much red flag because of the relationships with MC mom/Erynns mom, etc.
Gabi - I'm convinced shes married to Santiago(who I believe is confirmed to be MC dad, forgot the playthrough how it is worded) and that drama is a tough pill to add in. Shes quite hot, but I feel like shes got enough drama flags to warrant trepidation with.

On all my playthroughs (at least 5) I always turn down /Tori/Cara/Layla (except once) & Valeria as they are all too young/innocent for my taste. Too much work, I like women who know what they want.
On that note, can't wait to see more Iris.

There's been a lot of teasing of things going down the shitter but not a lot of consequences so far, now Nyx needs to deliver, take your time, but give us the fireworks.

The MC, with Dani, Gabi does some illegal corporal punishment with a meter stick on the MC.

It's not so much the drama as the ridiculousness of the situation. Two or three tapes of Ethan being a pimp and a couple of tapes of Ethan threatening and mistreating Erynn would be enough to send his father's agency to the wall. In the best case scenario (for Ethan) his father should fire him and exile him to Alaska to save what can be saved.

Part of why I say that, is since its been revealed Ethan's last name, is Bloomberg, I am curious to know if that was done purposely.

The Bloomberg name denotes one of money and privilege.(If you don't know why, look up Mike Bloomberg)
As such, powerful families are used to getting their way, one way or another.
We still don't know one way or the other of what Ethan's father does or does not know. As such we have no way to determine if he will help cover up everything or throw Ethan to the wolves.
I think with the cutting short of the blackmail material we could be losing other characters that we weren't introduced to yet, who may have impacted how the story unfolds.

That's really my concern - good stories take time and setup. I like good lewd scenes and the sexual content as much as anyone else here, but what separates the good games from great ones (or VN's in this case) is the story.

I just hope the impatience of other fans to have resolutions doesn't impact the narrative of the story.

Some of us half jokingly think that Ethan's father or grandfather is Madison Springs Old (Beach) Perv. His family owns a private beach and he was being driven by a chaffeur when he victimized mama Emily. Nyx progressed MSOP from (annoying for others) comic relief in the Layla-Nikki beach scenes, to a more darker tone in the Val, Erynn beach scenes. The bastard's expanding his territory from the beach to the rest of the city.

Could MSOP be a Bloomberg?

the game doesn't do a very good job at explaining it, the points essentially work as a mutual interest meter. If you gain enough points with Layla for example, her and the MC are interested in each other, if you don't they just see each other as friends.

There is a weird cut off in points for some of the ladies like in the case of Melissa, and as you mentioned, Layla. With Melissa, you can have all the points from previous encounters, but if you don't compliment her new hair, the dream/notadream scene will not happen. As for Layla, if you're doing a scumbag run of dating both Monroe sisters, if you decide to choose Lexi instead of Layla, you can still save your ass from Lexi and Layla confronting you in the infamous You're a Piece of Shit scene, by deciding not to push Layla down onto the track and kiss her at track camp. That's a few measly points, and it doesn't make logical sense that you could still get around Layla being mad at you for leading her on. There's several script and game choices fixes needed here. Unless Nyx is deliberately doing the ambiguous thing for the Melissa path?

According to Nyx, she did talk to the students, so something more is going on, and sounds like someone is intentionally lying.

As for Gabi saying that its not my favorite, especially on my route with her. She is my number 4 maybe 3 favorite LI, but Nyx also said she was just doing her Job, in another post. So probably to keep it professional, since no actual relationship YET, and keep their sexual escapades secret.

Also the suspension is critical to the blackmail storyline and since that is being fast forward, we needed to get suspended now, so that probably lost a bit of logic with how fast it went down.

So its not favorite choice. Hopefully we don't wait too long for more Gabi to make it up to us.

Gabi is heavenly but so near becoming an antaognist over her jealousy. I want to see how far Gabi takes it. HAHAH.

Gabi's actions are professional no matter what kind of relationship you may or may not have with her, no intentional harming of the MC because she's jealous(she's only jealous if you have Layla+Gabi which i highly recommend ).
But even with this combo her attitude is simply professional.

First your son flips on you for kissing your friend then finding out your father ain't your father.
Then new hire fucks your son in your office.
Then same new hire fucks more people then you have to fire her and said crew which makes you short staff.
Then new hire is found dead.
Then you fuck your friends ex.
Then your friend walks away from you.
Only thing to set a blaze is Melissa fucks MC.
