Ok Guys... Here's the deal. This game started as a three man team. A coder(The Coder of The Coder Games), a renderer, and A writer(Griff of Dark Griffin Games). Last fall (2023) we lost the render guy. This slowed things down big time as he was the only one who didn't also have their own independent game that they were developing. Then in spring of 2024, The Coder's work/life situation changed and he was no longer able to continue the project. This left me, Griff, as the only person still trying to work on this game. I put it on pause for a bit and put out 2 mor episodes of my main game.
I am now reworking the game in an entirely new ren'py file. I am using the same images from this game for the portion that is currently done, but I am removing the sandbox and grinding portion to make it more like a standard AVN.
To address some of the questions/concerns that have been voiced in the comments...
It will not be Kinetic, there will be choices that impact the story.
You will be able to change the player's name.
The MC will continue to look the same up to the point of the game that was completed so far.
It will have an even more indepth story with lore that wasn't included in the original.
It
may have aliens...
I am trying to have the current story remastered and out by the end of the year.
When released, it will have a new game thread because this one belongs to The Coder Games and it will now be a part of the Dark Griffin Games catalog.
It will also have a new slightly longer name.
So, to sum up...
New Developer. New name. New menu image and setup.
Same story. Same characters. Same origin. Same writer. Same plan.
