At the moment, yes, it would; whether they discover something has to be tweaked that breaks saves later before the release; that I cannot promise, but for testing yesterday, old save load has a check mark, so it worked.
Just to keep everyone in the loop, we had a successful test of the new journal system. At the moment it's only keyed with the starting three, but the code works to pull from the girl object model as we had intended and every test was successful, so expect that in the new release.
We also kicked around the idea of a whole prison side story if you get caught selling drugs and how to get out of there, but we quickly realized we were basically building a whole game's worth of story to make that all happen, so the idea was axed.

He's considering doing some other project work; he's still on board for finishing this project with us though, so no worries, we're not expecting to lose our artist (just yet). He did say he's never working with real porn again though.
Well that's a shame, they've been doing a fairly good job on the edits. Any timetable on the next release?
Next release will be soon; we've decided once the journal system is working, that will go in with a bunch of bug fixes, very little new content; but QoL improvement with the journal piece and we'll let people smack that around and see if it's got any issues before we roll forward. Probably out this coming week, we're pretty close on the journal stuff.
While this is a good game and tons of fun. It's very hard.

1. One of the ways to make money is the random encounters; unlock the memory 1 tech and you'll find some random encounters that add minions and money.
2. No walk through as of yet, but we're hoping to get the next release out with a "Journal" system that will guide you on what to do next in pursuit of each girl and her scenes.
I have to be honest, the quality of life and systems and management stuff is much less appealing than the story, which is by far the most entertaining part of the game. It seems like a lot of effort for something that overall isn't the main draw of the game.

Oh we get it, but a number of people have raised the issue of not having something like a journal to help direct them and it's a fair critique too. Not to worry, we have a LOT more content planned and our writer is continuing to work on it while the dev works on these technical issues.

I still think it could be really cool for yall to rerelease Invasive Species 1 with this art as a new addition.
Maybe when we get done with IS 2 we can release an IS "Reloaded" or something less cheesy sounding.

Strong possibility for this weekend, depending on when our Dev has a chance to finish bug fixes and we do another test before release; can't promise it, he's been really busy with his "real job"; I call it less than dedicated to the mission.
