In this case no; our Dev says he has a pretty good idea on the point of failure, just a matter of figuring out what got moved when the Journal hooks got put in that broke it. It's almost 100% one of the stage event tag variables that get marked down as you fulfill all the little side stories. Unless they're all "checked off", the story doesn't open up to the next stage. The game does this both for the end of Kim's 1st and 2nd arcs (representing the ends of chapter 1 & 2 respectively; both with a Lighthouse event)

We think we have all the bugs sorted out and are testing; hoping to have a bug fix release this weekend to resolve the plot getting stuck with the new journal system.

- Fixed Becka not showing up in the gas station
- Fixed Dani's event for Kim Arc 2 not firing at the Frat house correctly, causing the final lighthouse encounter to never happen
- Fixed bug that would cause the game to think you had the fire axe even if you hadn't found it or bought one (ffs, again?!)
- Fixed Natalie's journal entry not updating after you finished her current content (Thanks, Moodydude!)
- Fixed Aika's capture taking the wrong amount of Pheromones from the player (Thanks, Moodydude!)
Known Issue:
- Using the cheat menu and never buying from the hardware store will cause certain events to not fire
- There's a line of dialogue that presumes you have Monique before Yuna is missing; this will be fixed by a conditional check in a later release
- Menu UI for energy/health bars is not updating correctly
- Kim, Dani, and Yuna aren't "available" after the conclusion of the story arc; this will be amended in a future update
- After updating the Cave renovation, the indicator displays the pre-update message instead of the finished update message (but the changes do take effect)

The QoL updates seem to work well and I do think they make a meaningful difference in playing the game. What’s next in development? Anything specific to look forward to in the next update?
Good news; next update is content; getting Tiffany's story done, more for the other options at the end of Act II, Maya-Yuna-Kim content finally implemented, and the drive towards Act 3.

Does anyone know how to stop/disable offspring from cucking you? not sure why game has no ntr tag.
So we've been quiet for a minute so wanted to update you all; and not to worry, project isn't going away or anything.
However, we've been unable to get in touch with our remaining Dev for about a week and we're not sure what's happened. Now, it's the internet and people are volunteering to make a porn game, so it's not unheard of for someone on the team to fuck off for a time without bothering to tell the rest of us, but usually not for this long. Hopefully he's back to us here on the weekend and maybe just work got real or something.
As you may recall, we started with a different artist who went dark after the invasion of Ukraine and since he was from that country, we fear the worst for him. We also had one of our two devs leave to focus on his own game, and we wish him the best. We eventually found another artist and we were struggling but making headway with just one volunteer dev.
Work will continue on the game even if we have to have someone else step in for what little coding the game needs, but it was decided we should keep you all in the loop on what was happening.

Just wanted to update everyone. Still no word on our Dev, but we have proceeded with the work we can get done. Tiffany's scenes are almost all finished and will be in the next update; we're working on a LOT of fixes for the bugs that have been reported, and we're hopefully going to have some additional content to put in besides Tiffany.
I think more like 3-4 weeks. Dev never did reappear, zero activity on his accounts. Our going bets are sudden death or in jail for something. :-( We're trying to get something wrapped up soon. Apparently this is a holiday weekend in the US, so some things are not going to get done this weekend.
