That is a genuinely surprising take to me, I'd expect most people to feel the opposite.
I skipped literally all of the Isekai part personally in this, like you said though to each his own.
I think it could be cool, other games have done the Isekai thing really well actually I am a fan of that genre but to me this is an incest game more than anything.
We already said it, he is milking. Probably he is going to wait until end of the month to avoid losing too many subs.

I don't think he's milking anything, I think it's more of him trying to be a perfectionist.
Objectively, in the 5 months of the game being out it has more content than most games on here get in 5 years. Also he's barely making any money off this, definitely not even close to being enough for it to justify the time he put into it. Patreon takes a cut, then he has to pay taxes on top of that he's barely seeing any money so the sub shit doesn't matter.
I do think it's dumb for him to say he has the update done though, and then not put it out. At the end of the day though we're on a pirate forum, getting the game for free so we really don't have much room to talk.

I think the dev has said several times that he doesn't care much about the membership issue (that's what everyone says), but frankly it's difficult to "defend" him since he contradicts himself in what he publishes. First he says he has everything necessary to launch the update... then he publishes the status and says that he doesn't have a release date. In short, it's the same thing as with the last update... I'm waiting for a new publication indicating that he has saving problems... like what happened last time. Anyway, we'll wait and see how good it will be.
The plot twist would be to be able to send the family into the brothel , to see the mother and sisters get taken by big goblins and trolls lol
....LAZY is not a word I would use to describe the dev....Thats an insane statement. Could it use some QoL? Sure. But look at the game itself and consider what kind of person would make it...He's a bit sadistic, no? The more we complain and moan the longer he's going to jebait us and not release those QoLs, we're not even paying for this.

There's no animation or in-depth renders. How does this game take this long for its updates? He is milking it for sure. This is one of the most repetitive and boring game Ive played.

IK there are other platforms but still, the game isnt that well know YET
for example look at summertime saga and taffy tales
they delivered good content for a couple of years & build a good fanbase THEN started milking
like his timing to start milking the game is too soon

Mymoon might be trolling with that comment but this game is EXTREMELY repetitive bro. You have to replay the same scenes like 50 times in order to advance for each scene, and the skipping is way too slow. If there is any valid criticism it's that. Unfortunately I don't think he can change it because of the way he has it coded.
You're right though about him putting out way more content than every other Devs I said the same thing, and the renders are honestly some of the best I have seen as well.
You are assuming he or she lives in a country where $900 a month isn't a lot. But there are many countries where people earn much less than $900 a month

In Brazil, $900 is over 3 times the minimum wage. That probably isn't so bad for a single person.
I agree, but $900 could be a really good amount of money/month depending of where he is from, and that could be the reason he is already milking. Bones tales dev is uruguayan, so imagine a south american guy earning in dollars.
