You don't have to be optimistic but it's dumb to be pessimistic just because you had bad experiences with other Devs. If you expect the worst from everything in life you're only going to make yourself miserable dude.

Sure you can make inferences based off of patterns but the only red flag this Dev has shown so far is poor communication skills, which is probably just him not having good social skills. The normal reaction of a supporter is to "let him cook", the selfish reaction is to expect him to rush the update to please you, especially when the majority of people here complaining aren't even paying.

I'm not virtue signaling, I'm going to pirate the game and I want it to come out faster selfishly as well I'm just saying.

In my case, what this dev has achieved is that I’ll never pay him again in my life. I don’t tolerate being laughed at, especially when the product costs me ten dollars per update, which he releases whenever he feels like it. It’s just pathetic to support this. I can’t respect someone who keeps paying this man’s Patreon every month, has been waiting for an update since September, and keeps saying ‘let him cook,’ knowing it probably won’t come out until 2026.

Spending more money on this than on a highly rated Steam game is ridiculous and pathetic — and honestly, I’ve completely lost respect for anyone who keeps doing it. If I could put them in the Death Note, I would, without a second thought

I don’t see anyone trying to argue against the fact that we’re all fans of some team here, and most of us have never even gone to the stadium to watch them live or spend money — but we still get pissed when they lose. Still, if you are one and someone calls you out on it, you’ve got two options: think about it and change, or stay the same — in which case, you should own it, and when someone points it out, you keep quiet.

He used to release an update every 3 months while making around $300, but now? he make a bit less 1000 with consider both patteron and subscribestar +tax

He also said update could come in september, then the problem with the code and saves appeared, so the update now was going to be in october (didn't give a day). Now we are 2 days for november, i'm curious to see what's his next excuse.

I was a Patreon subscriber, and I have to say that if you initially released a game every three months and now haven't released this long-awaited update because you said "everything's ready but I still have a few things to fix," it feels like you're making a joke to me, and that the update isn't actually ready at all. Well, I don’t know if you’re lying or if you just didn’t notice, but at first, they said September. You can check it on the forum. Then it was October, and unless it comes out tomorrow, it will be two times now that they’ve deceived their so-called followers. I only paid $10 for an update, not sure if it’s the previous one or the one before that. And yes, the simple fact that I’m here on this forum makes me a loser, but not because I paid just $10. If a dev does a good job, whether it’s here, on Steam, or anywhere, I don’t mind supporting them. What’s crazy is how one person here, who doesn’t pay for updates, but is subscribed and pays every month. That’s literally mocking people. And there are at least two "people" here—I'm not sure if you can even consider them humans—who have so little respect for themselves that they’ve been paying for months and even say they’re happy with it. If it comes out in 2026, cool. Those are the ones I’m talking about, they’re absolute scum, and they shouldn’t breathe the same air as the rest of us because it’s too much to be here and still blindly support people who lie straight to your face. These people don’t love themselves or have any self-respect, and they should objectively disappear. That’s my stance. You’re not part of that group, but there are way too many people here who are, and I think we should separate them out. My stance is that this is just another dev using the same disgusting, despicable tactic, and to make matters worse, there are people who support them. It’s too much.
