The low ratings are about the concept and content. It's little more than a flash game you could play on newgrounds. Every scene is exactly the same with the only thing changing being the female involved. And with the exception of the one dark skinned character they all look almost identical so it is also lacking in variety, which something like this kind of needs.

I did read it, that's why I know, that the other 3 are quite similiar to this. These are no AVNs, these are short clips put together into renpy. And the only variations are the "setting" between the 4 different games, and basically the faces (or more likely their hair cut and colour) of the choosen girl inside them. All implemented girls have the same scenes. The only girl that sticks out, is the one with the darker skin tone in this game. BUT THAT'S ALL. You even made not an effort to differ the positions if a different girl gets choosen. So my opinion stays, these could be great, even as short AVNs, but this is so barebones, that I still think, it's wasted effort and time for uploading. As a testing or as a training for yourself, it would've been ok.
Actually I couldn't care less. If an AVN has a good story and is full of naked 7-10yo's that state their ages as such in dialog and want to fuck the MC (ie One Summer In Loliwood) I'll still play it.

Why would you need to defend it? It exists with or without your defense.
How do you know they are 18? Did you ask them for ID? Or just took someone's word for it? Actually they are probably not even 1, if you count their creation date as a birth date.
Well, I'm one of the people that gave it a rating, so let me tell you why I gave it a 1.
I agree, but while they do call them AVN's on the itch.io page, a mod uploaded it here with that prefix, not the dev. So it's on the mods for "misleading" the users even though they are just adding it by what they are labeled as elsewhere.
And you believe it? 1 rule of life I learned over the years: some cutie says she's 18, take that with a grain of salt. On a serious note things like "all characters in this game are 18yo" are just put there to legally cover the dev's ass. It doesn't necessarily actually mean they are 18 (plenty of AVN's have that statement yet are still Rule 7 banned). That should be obvious when they are cartoons and don't have an age when you think about it.
If someone can't take the devs word on the age of a bunch of pixels and it makes them uncomfortable then there are others here that you can play. I still don't think it makes the game any better but no one is forcing their hand.
