I was hoping to find a higher resolution image, because the card isn't great considering the 3.9:1 ratio. Given the source I don't think that a suitable adaption could be made, by me at least. I just thought that the source was interesting enough to share.

Jesus, what specs do you need for the picture?
1. By 3.9:1 that's width to height ratio right? Can you give any ballpark figure for the number of pixels for either width or height?
2. Anything goes for possible a picture is kind of hard. Any parameters or constraints that should be considered for this picture?

You can do better. You can actively participate in the thread like what you're doing now by providing the modders feedback. Negative criticism is welcome as long as they can help make this game better.

Damn, for the past few weeks the people posting here were just the modders plus one or two curious folks. Now we have a bit of a crowd. You guys are welcome here. You can say "Your mod sucks!" as long as you also add "Here is how you can make it better!"

Yeah well here's hoping, been following the thread on HF for a looong time and it's sad to see how the project died out, I still enjoy playing SBR2 and that has somewhat active development but it's not the same with crappy RPGM being used.. last I heard of JONT development was people trying to add more image packs and someone trying to clean up the code but that's about it. If you do decide to release patches in the future use this site, HF is pretty close to dead at this point and the wiki for JONT needs a reboot.

You guys can help if you want.

This mod is actually qwerty's private project. Then earlier this year our F95 community encouraged him to make it public. Then PAM aka Powerairmax joined him. They're the two guys doing almost all the work. You may know PAM from HF as the guy who created Jack's current UI as well as a bunch of other stuff.

You'd be wrong if you think this mod is just a mere image pack with some bugfixes. https://f95zone.to/threads/jack-o-nine-tails-v1-8-hf-old-huntsman-et-al.390/post-1997049 This will actually be a sequence of mods that would be released over time rather than one big mod to mitigate the possibility that it might drop dead along the way. The upcoming one will indeed be an image pack with bugfixes but more updates should follow with more features.

The second most interesting about this game is how difficult for its creator to collect funds for further development of sequel project.

I read about that. Was it in the HF thread? He was asking for bitcoin and talking about running from the Kremlin or something.

He's currently creating a new game called Mists of Eternal Rome. Still very buggy from what I can read.

I took the exact same one, it is originally from the girl life forum as far as I am aware.

Seems to work with wine, which uses the qsp player which is part of the download...

And to be perfectly honest... thats not a good mechanic, I couldnt even hold it in an acceptable value on any of the girls. Regardless of how much i micromanaged, and did my best to make certain she got all the things needed to raise it.. it flatlined faster than i could train her to d+ rank (exageration used)... often by -10 per day.... Then apathy set in.. and from there on... you can only hope to train her in time before she goes mad... wtf... That is utterly retarded, mostly because it requires so grueling and boring micromanagement and repetetiveness that you go insane yourself, in an absolutely futile effort. Even tried this with max cheats on.. still went apathetic in no time.. Girl having no fear, no anxiety, highly devoted... still going insane... zzzz. instant delete of the game. There is absolutely no reason to grind the same 4 5, hell 10 moves every single day, for no effect at all. stupidity...

I'm surprised you actually failed while using max cheats. That was designed specifically for people who have a hard time with the game on easy mode while using all the other cheats. You're actually the first one in both this thread and the HongFire threads who is really honest enough to admit that he failed using maximum cheats.

Are any of you guys also having a hard time with the game on easy mode with max cheats plus tips from the wiki as well as the F95 and HF threads? If there are a lot of you who were registered with F95 before this post who would claim that the max cheat isn't enough the modders can create a supermax cheat or even a megamax cheat if you like.

I'm assuming you're playing a Custom Game on Easy with max cheats on plus you're using tips from a veteran Jack player. Provided that you've been registered with F95 before this post and provided that there are a lot of you wanting an even more aggressive cheat the modders will take your sentiments into consideration.

This is OldHuntsman production. Which means LoLi and woman's body eating (I mean meat from her body, or selling woman into slaughter). So, well, how to say that. I'll try other games.

I can sympathize with you about the lolis, gore and peculiar cuisine of this game. But I can play the game just fine without any of those. I play a vegan in this game (no meat, eggs or dairy) and the most that I did to a girl was to shame her (no beating, maiming and all the nasty stuff either).

If there's enough clamor from the community and provided the modders have the manpower to spare after the completion of the priority features of the aggregate mod we may incorporate your suggestion for an option for a less dark (though still dark) game.

If you're Mongolian you can read some Russian right? At least if you're born before the Soviet Union disintegrated. There is another modding community of Jack by Russians. It's different from ours but you can google that if you use the Russian name for Jack "Валет Плетей."

If you're new to Jack you should play v1.7.5. If not you can play v1.8 since it has many quality of life improvements. It will also be the basis of the upcoming mod.

Hey, I appreciate the advice but I'm sorry to say you're overestimating how much I know about these things. I've got Jack 1.7.5 and Jack 1.8 downloaded. I'm looking at "game" folders in each, and each has a jack.qsp file inside it. From there, can you break it down for me in extremely simple terms? I downloaded the QSetup Composer Demo but then once I use it to open jack.qsp, I see nothing indicating where the database is.

There use to be a debug option where you can edit slave stats with an interface.

What mod version is that? Can you show a screenshot of the interface where you can modify the stats? I can look into the code to check if indeed it had been removed in a previous mod.

I also saw this link to a different .qsp player that might be worth checking out: https://f95zone.to/threads/qsp-player-with-video-support-written-in-qt.10801/ reply with your experiences, sometimes Linux takes some monkeying around.

PAM, you may want to look into this. Some guy supposedly modified the QSP player to be able to read new image/video formats e.g. webm, webp, mp4 as well as to enable the use of the latest HTML5 syntax in the .qsp.

If the latest HTML5 syntax can be enabled we can actually use different image formats simultaneously.

The main issue with this modified player I think is the handling of json files since some of you HF guys actually managed to do some programming magic of your own by enabling the reading of json files.

EDIT: I've consulted with two serious qsp coders in that thread: the thread starter and the guy who actually created that revised qsp player. According to them it would probably be better to stick to Jack's original QSP player. It appears one of our modders did some programming magic of his own and created a QSP player specifically for Jack that can read json files. You can read our discussions over in that thread.

I have downloaded 3 different versions of Jack 1.7.5 from 3 different sources & none of them will play either before or after i overwrite with the 1.8.0 add on. The front page comes up with the age disclaimer but as soon as i click on "i want to continue" i get an error message that reads - Location: main_menu Area on visit Line: 18 Code: 120 Desc Incorrect arguments'count! - and then won't play. Any advice on what the hell is going on would be appreciated

I downloaded 1.8 from MEGA but I had the same problem with 1.7.5 so that's not he cause. I have windows 10 & used QSP570 as i couldn't find the Jack-o-nine-tails.exe anywhere in any of the versions i downloaded, if that's the cause of my problem a link to somewhere i can download the .exe would much appreciated.

I mean, where did you find the MEGA link for v1.8? Here? On this very thread?
