Hi mormyz , I read your 1 star review... and I agree with you. However I'd like to ask you to remove your review, or at least put it on standby until next version.

In fact, I wrote "lowering the difficulty" in the roadmap with quite a bit of detail Screenshot_2025-03-03-11-17-13-15_e4424258c8b8649f6e67d283a50a2cbc.jpg .

First of all, minimum rating for this game is unfair and misleading for all the qualities this game has. Additionally, it lowers the overhaul score, which makes less players potentially discover this game; less people giving us help or feedback means it'll take longer to fix the difficulty to reach a sweetspot.

Mind you, the first 1 star review we received was because the game had been made "too easy, for noobs". As for the current level of difficulty, an about equal amount of users said they hated it than the number who said it was fine.

We are ready to try things back and forth given your remarks and expectations. That goes for everyone who has been silent about the difficulty but found it too hard. We'd need as many details as possible to create a coherent experience in the line with v1.7.5/v2.2 difficulty without alienating the current playerbase looking for a challenge. We answer to most messages on this thread, so no need to send us sour reviews of frustration, especially if we're already convinced. (y)

In my understanding, obedience is just a summary of all other aura stats. Try focusing on habit and awareness for the start. If she refuses to do anything - cast tremendio. If she still refuses - well, time to cast domini. And don't forget to use philtre to boost devotion.
You always want to reward her to raise habit and punish her for taming. Pro-tip: spider training is the best way to max taming on last stages of training.
And to lower the depression - just give her some alcohol.
I don't even have those spells at the begining. I'm really trying to get a good slave on new game, i just don't know what im doing wrong. They're either disobedient or broken at the end.

Ok so I am trying to sell a slave to The Prince in the necropolis and he just WILL not take her. What are the exact requirements? Like I get the skills, I don't know what he means by soft and refined. Soft is in blue letters but I can't find any info as to what that means.

You should rather show us a screenshot of what he says when he refuses her. The refusal quote is a giveaway of what's missing.

Chances are that it's charm.

Disobedient due to spoiling and broken due to despair perhaps? If yes, you may want to avoid rewarding/punishing too often per day. I think it's 2-3 times max per day. You don't have to reward them everytime they do or don't do an activity, just enough that you don't finish the day with merit/guilt.

speaking of charm would it be better to show number value for charm and exoticism when buying clothes?
currently it's pretty vague with it mostly coming from description and you have to look it up on the wiki for exact value

I strongly believe that no and it would defeat the purpose, especially for charm. Charm is something enigmatic, ineffable, that nobody has a good grasp on. You can't even see the charm stat in the girl characterstics, unless you use magic, and it's by design. We already offered many quality of life improvement related to charm in order to make it easier for the player, including some strong concessions (clients that rejected a slave for lack of charm used not to give vague description that some detail was ruining the ensemble, now they at lease mention the term "charm").

For exoticism it might be different, maybe it would be better justified... but I'm not immediately convinced.

What do you have in mind?
I'm talking about Palatine residential district - currently only player himself lives there. If I remember correctly, somewhere in the first post in the roadmap area there were plans to add other residents there and create a real quest-giving district - like in the residential district of any other quarter of Eternal Rome.
Regarding Slums, I remember that a long time ago in the original game there was a placeholder for the residential area but with empty lines instead of residents, but now that has been removed, as I see.

Regarding Palatine residential district, so far we've done nothing. lol ^^ I believe, that if development pace starts back up (now it's almost a complete pause), it could be one of the first few things to do.

It does seem fun to create new client for early and late game. Or it could end up just being a relocation of existing clients from other neighborhoods into the new empty one and amping up their demands.

Is there a cap to how much guild reputation can be gained per contract such that there is no benefit in turning in a slave past a certain rating? For example, I am doing a D- slave and planning to turn it in as B+ but could also turn it sooner as C+.

No, it is always better to train to a higher rank if you can.
