So, is this the difficulty bullshit, or am I doing something wrong, if I skip one day of fighting slaves in colosseum I go down to being almost useless, regardless of what level I managed to achieve?

Edit: Correction, I lose a level of all experience I gained from fighting slaves in colosseum after going to sleep.

If you're playing the latest dev version, that shouldn't happen.

how many different slaves there are, and are they all unlocked from start? Or do some unlock only later etc. Do some slaves have special story / more content, if yes how to know who

They're generic slaves with a couple exceptions. Felicity is a quest and Julia is unlockable if you play as Johny and sell a slave to the Pope. There's also an event that gives you a free slave in the guild, but I don't know if she's a set slave in appearance like Julia and Felicity.

If you are talking about your strength stat going down that is probably due to eating low quality meals
Every meal quality below your current strength stat lowers it by that amount

No I am talking about the fighter stat. It simply resets every time I go to next day.
