Hello everyone
I played Jack o nine years ago... but with my reastart i only getting problems...
I have multiple questions.
Thanks for your support
I didn't play the older versions very much, so not sure what exact things have changed. But can try to answer anyway.
1. Why does my slave or assistent not start the day with 5 but only 2 or 3 energie? At the end of the previouse day energie was at +/- 0 so not below 0 Energie (so i did not overdue training / work) They also didnt have automated work like bath me, cook at the end of the day etc. i do that all manually with the energie they have.
Most likely this is because of the slaves' low endurance stat. S class endurance will regenerate 5 stars of energy per day. I'm guessing your slaves have B or C.
2. It there a overview what actions increases / decreases the attributes of a slave? (very important!)
Yes,
You must be registered to see the links
Is a good reference
3. Why does my asistant / Slave gets spoiled (according to the aura) when they are naked... sleep on a bedroll, get normal food and are not praised more then the daylie success is (when a slave get an excelent (2) i only do level 1 or 2 praise)
Again guessing, but... On normal difficulty, you need to assign at least 2 rules to a slave, or they gain spoiling. They also gain some if they end the day with guilt (in which case you should punish them before going to bed)
4. The part of the combat System i get is what i need to do to do most damage or get a buff or let the enemie get an debuff. Beside that i dont get it
Yeah, I didn't get it either for a long time.
The easy way is getting a slashing weapon (Flamberge is the strongest one), then learning special abilities from the colosseum NPC (Swift Strike, Battle Cry, Roundhouse Kick). When you use them in that order, you debuff the enemy against red attacks, buff your red attack, then kick them for a shitload of damage. Then just hit them with your sword over and over again, if they aren't dead yet.
Unlike weapon attacks, special abilities always give the same buffs/debuffs, regardless of the target's stance.
a. Should you do the kick / push / sweep at all? If yes - when?
Only when you can't get a good result with your main weapon attacks or special abilities. Those do the most damage, so ideally you should just be using them. But sometimes these weak attacks can be used to get a buff/debuff going
b. If i dont have debuffs and the enemie dont have buff is it irrelevant wether i do block / evade or Autoattack?
At an advanced level, it can make a difference. For example, if I go Evade stance, then the enemy's Precise Attacks will give me a debuff. If I know that the debuff that enemy gives me is really bad, and would ruin my combo, then I can avoid it by not going into Evade stance.
c. Is there a way to foresee what kind on an attack the enemie will do?
Sometimes it seems like certain enemies have a pattern, but it's probably totally random...
d. Why do i or the enemie sometimes 1 damage attacks? (why just 1 dmg)
Good armor, weak weapon, not matching attack type with the target's stance, target having a buff against that attack type, your attack type being debuffed...
If many of these conditions are true at the same time, damage can be reduced to 1.
e. What is the meaning of the purple / green / red shorted words behind your attack style? e.g. Crush >> (PN/Adr)
They're abbreviations for the buffs you receive, or the debuffs you will land, when using that attack. In this case, if the target is in green stance, using Crush will buff you with Adrenaline (reduces red damage taken). If they are in purple stance, Crush will debuff them with Severe Pain (reduces the purple damage they deal).
Yeah, have fun memorizing all that crap...this is why we just smash everything with the OP special ability combo. The only time you really must learn this system is if you want a slave to become Grand Champion. But hey, we can save right before the fights and just keep trying.
