4K version is massively improved quality over the 1080p version. It’s 60fps as well.

yep, i just checked it. definitely has much finer details. good to know he finally figured out how to do proper 4K.
is that really a thing? shows how clueless I am about this stuff but I didn't imagine there would be any difference between resolutions beyond changing a single setting.

well there's a couple things to consider. on the renderer's end, it would highly depend on the resolution and quality of the textures themselves, and then the output settings of the video renderer. on the consumer's end, just a 4K monitor to really see the difference in real time.

Well in this case the 4K version is 60fps too so it’s twice as smooth, the jiggle looks way better.

Jackerman‘s is significantly sharper, and colour banding is vastly improved over the 1080p version. It plays smoother than Viggy‘s too depending on your hardware, at least it does for me. His files are smaller because they’re more aggressively compressed in HEVC.

i haven't seen the upscaled version but i'm pretty sure it would have interpolation artifacts.

The real issue is that he is trying to do setup and a sex scene all in one month usually limiting the scene to 3-5 min. He either needs to taking longer between each animation or do multiple parts spread out between 2-3 months. If not then I think this is the limit to what can be done in that short amount of time
