It is not abandoned. On the July 2nd they mentioned they've started on the next update after moving to a different place.
Update should thus be arriving in a month or 2 hopefully.

The abandoned tag gets put on any game thread that hasn't gotten an update or developer post in 6 months or more. It's more in the sense of like 'don't hold your breath' or 'unlikely to continue development'. Usually developers who are active here will message one of the mods they're going on hiatus and it'll be placed on hold instead.

That was posted the 2nd of July, not February the 7th. "07/02/2024" is the weird ass american way of displaying dates.
