Unfortunately it isn't obvious.
The longer it goes on the more it looks like Mel and the "therapist" are trying to push Jamie and Sarah apart. They repeatedly deceive them, don't give them agency over their own choices, abuse them, and all while trying to corrupt them toward their own ends. It looks like they are trying to make them their own playthings, rather than helping Jamie and Sarah explore some kinks to grow as a couple. Especially since they aren't doing anything that's going to reinforce that relationship; quite the opposite.
Is the plan for Jamie and Sarah to end up as a happy couple in the end? Or has the whole point been for Mel and the "therapist" to pimp them out or make them their pets? Because it certainly seems to be leaning toward the latter.
By the way, you may want to add forced chastity and sexual assault notes to either the Genre or Dev Notes sections so people are fully aware what they're getting into.

So I'm sorry to disagree, however, no they don't always get an option to say no, and even when they are presented with a potential option they are guilted, tricked, or flat out lied to into agreeing with what their manipulators want.
It certainly seems like they are being forced. While they weren't held down by the throat and aggressively made to do any of the above, they weren't given an actual option to refuse. When presented with the insincere "don't have to" statement, any protest was met with guilt, lies, tricks or other forms of manipulation to get them to reluctantly give in.
Being fed a lie along the lines of "do this or the person you love will suffer" isn't really giving someone a choice. It's forcing them through coercion rather than physical threats. Still just as evil; which is how I view the "therapist" and Mel, since they're working together to corrupt Jamie and Sarah's lives. Although, considering the lengths and methods that the "therapist" goes through, and her level of depravity, she may have previously already corrupted and manipulated Mel into being her puppet. Much like Mel is now doing to Sarah, so it may not be entirely her fault.

What is still upsetting, is that rather than actually help him naturally find his way, he is deceived by the person he is supposed to trust. If for no other reason than it is the tenet of their profession, a therapist is supposed to give helpful advice, and to be a guide through someone's discovery, recovery, and/or healing.
Yet the "therapist" that Jamie goes to see, manipulates him into getting what she wants, doesn't listen to his pleas, and forces him into complying. He "doesn't have to" but he's made to believe it will hurt Sarah, the person he cares most for in the world, if he doesn't acquiesce. She's not a therapist; she's a dom masquerading as a therapist who gets off on humiliation, manipulation, and forcing people to submit to her will.
Does he come to like some of the things she puts him through? Certainly. Definitely some more than others. That isn't what's being questioned. It's her immoral, and frankly illegal, methods that are reprehensible.

All that being said, I do sincerely want to thank you for making several of the choices optional.
Most notably, being able to go through the novel with both Jamie and Sarah only having sexual experiences with women. This is very much appreciated.
Not forcing Jamie to be interested in men, and making it so Sarah can be with only women, is a refreshing change from most other novels. If indeed the ultimate goal is to make Jamie very feminized, then Sarah can now exclusively be with women, or people who identify in a female or feminine way.
Again, thanks for this.
Having a novel where it's understood that just because someone changes how they see or present themselves doesn't necessarily change their sexual orientation is excellent.
Despite my misgivings about certain aspects of the story, more accurately with one particular character, I do think you have made a good novel. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Mick is much more eloquently getting across what I was discussing at the end of last year. Probably because of my own predilections my own discussion was focused almost exclusively on Sarah, but this is what I was trying to convey when I said she feels like she has no agency. As much as I like this game I do still feel like she (and Jamie tbf as pointed out) rarely actually makes a choice. So many choices are presented, but only superficially.
As a story with a mostly cohesive narrative this is actually fine, trying to actually build most of these choices (and the ones where we do get a real choice are mostly fetish toggles, which is a plus) would make this game a maze like some old school japanese VN where they had like 35 endings and some of them could only be reached by making specific choices at every option in the game which can be equally frustrating. From the perspective of the characters instead of the narrative though, it's kinda a crapshoot for them.

It's my first take on developing a visual novel and I try things out a lot: different clothings, to make your own outfit, phone and so on. But I think this won't be one of them

My commentary was more to give you some insight as to how the storyline and characters, especially the one, were coming across.
While it might be something that could influence future content with that character, I didn't really think you'd change any of the earlier parts of the story.
Now I'm worried about what I might have said that gave you an idea, lol. Mostly because what I was suggesting was in the realm of a worst-case scenario.
Might be good for people who really like corruption stories. I tend to like happier endings; especially when loving couples are involved who are willing to go through so much for each other.
Would love to see the "therapist" losing her license and being arrested (among other things), while Jamie and Sarah live out their days as a happy couple. Exploring their newly awakened sexual appetites and preferences together, without the interference of outside negative influences (since she'll be in jail, or on the run in some nonextradition country).
Sorry, for going off on a happy fantasy tangent, lol.
Eager to see what you come up with next.

Ohhh... I don't intend to make Jamie suffer. I intended to make this a wholesome story, although it has all of these heavy fetishes.
But it is a porn game after all and including these heavy fetishes is a thing I like to do. I use options for the player to have the opportunity to enjoy the story without having to see stuff the player doesn't want to see, but this is hard to cover sometimes.
I don't have the time to look up where I answered MasterOfPuppets (who I really adore for his/her feedback) that I am a 100% fond of the Sarah/Jamie relationship and them breaking up is the worst thing I can imagine.

On that we certainly agree.
The difference, once the ending comes, will be the dynamic and what happens to the other characters.
While I can hold out hope for what I wish to see, I'm not optimistic it will resolve that way.
Oh well, still looking forward to where the story goes next.

To be honest i ship Jamie and Penny, i think she is a better person than Sarah overall and more suitable for Jamie but even Sarah is ok, just not the damn "therapist" please.
