I was really vibing with this game in the prologue and most of chapter 1. Story took a crazy hard turn when Santa Claus ended up being Jason's father and Santa got his powers from a demon. The mystery of Jason's powers, aside from the dumb demon Santa twist, also probably should have stayed a mystery a little longer. I also find it odd the dev rushed to explain Jason's powers, while also set up the lightning bolt earring as important, but then completely forgetting about it.

Decided to give the game another go after playing it a couple of years ago and it failed to impress me at the time.
That said how the hell am I supposed to get the taboo patch to work? I've been back and forth through the forum. The icon is green if its on red if it needs to be changed. Mine is grey which I'm assuming means uninstalled. The problem is there is no link for one anywhere. I've got an interdit.rpa and a script_interdit.rpa which I understand are the files that should be needed. So then is it installed but not working? I go through the therapist stuff and I can see with URM that the option for mother/sister exists but it shows that I don't get to choose it because of the interdit. (URM allows me to select the option but it still leaves the icon grey so I'm assuming I'd probably have to use URM every time going forward at the start of a scene with them.)
Tastes change and I'm trying to give it another chance. But I've just spent 30 min searching for a solution to a problem that for any other game would be a simple 30 sec procedure.

Just read the developer notes in the OP and you have the code for Taboo content. Easy to just input once you started the game. Unlocks everything. No patch needed.

This is, or was, a common misunderstanding, but actually only Patreon has issues with incest, on Steam it's fine and there are plenty of games with it on the store, in fact the Steam page for the game has just been set up:

Game got an update today - Awesome! Then I saw the update is just game tweaks... and depression set in
Quit using things like licensed music, then it won't be so expensive, just time consuming. There's thousands of free songs good enough for porn background purposes. People don't need to waste Dr.-Pink-Cake-level money to do ok enough. Aside from that I wouldn't give money to anyone on Patreon even if my life depended on it, fuck those guys and their Hayes Code. And I simply don't use Steam for porn but just for actual AAA games (for one my friends there don't need to know when I'm fapping to an AVN, having AVNs cluttering up my wishlist when I have no plans to ever buy them there, etc), it's why I'm here.« Joking aside, I hope you enjoy the game. I worked my ass off to create this and boy this is expensive.

i agree about the music part hell i just turn off all the music and have to turn down the other sounds down to half volume or less so i could care less about those myself but that is just me .
but i agree if they skimp on some things like the music would be more money in their pockets and less time wasting adding all that and more on dev time towards actual updates .

You do know on steam you can make games private so when you play it or buy it none of your friends see it.
You're thinking of Patreon. Valve/Steam has no problems with incest, they give 0 shits about it. And they are a multi-billion dollar company probably 100x bigger than Patreon and the credit card companies don't want to lose 20% of their revenue by pissing them off and then having to explain why that happened to shareholders so they leave them alone, unlike Patreon who are insignifcant to them. The single thing that will annoy Steam is if there's under 18's in it, which is still dumb when they are fictional cartoons but it is what it is. Probably why the redhead's little sister was otherwise pointlessly raised from 16 to 18 a couple updates ago (Unren ftw, back to 16 for me).

I've never had to do that. For me it's easier to simply not buy porn on Steam. If I really have an irresistable urge to give away money to a porn producer I do it mostly on SS, but sometimes BB, Boosty, or Mee6 if SS isn't working for them for some reason. But for that to happen it has to check all the right kink boxes in Renpy/Daz (basically all the good stuff neither Patreon nor Steam allows, naturally). So far there's like 20 still in current development in my sub list out of the AVN databases's 51,000+, so that's rare.

Darn. Here I was hoping for some exciting new content to explore. I’ve been waiting for new and fresh content for what feels like an eternity. Hopefully, it won’t be long before something new is released for us to enjoy.
