Story is good and pretty interesting for now. But some how, quite confusing to a certain extent? I feel like some character's backstory is lacking or missing as well.

The game gets bricked and unable to play if you click on continue instead of new game the first time you install it. now if you delete and download it again it will still be unplayable because it's stored somewhere in the Computers temp files. real dumb set up by the developer. not worth playing in my opinion

Ren'Py games on Windows have a secondary storage folder in C:\users\{yourusername}\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\
I can't tell you what the folder is named exactly as I don't have the game installed on this computer. Something like JASON-5635663 most likely. Delete that folder before reinstalling the game.

If you didn't even play it, I don't think you can assess if it's worth playing or not.

Interestingly the release date on Steam has quietly changed from "April 2025" to "2025".

Has a new release date, or word on the delays, been mentioned at all (I'm not on the discord)?

According to a recent message from the developer on Discord, the Steam release date seems to have been pushed back to the end of June (at the earliest). He explains that he still has a lot of work to do.

I think my only real complaint with the game right now is that sound effects like gun shots, the radio, car sounds etc are on the same channel as the awful sex moans. Can we have those audio channels split, so I and other players can mute the voices? Because they aren't good, imo, and I don't need a dudes VO moaning in to my ears during a blowjob scene lol.

Hopefully this gentleman will be lucky and the person reviewing his game for Steam approval will be someone with common sense .

Two games that I follow have been rejected because they are accused of "using real people" when they are actually AI-animated using the classic renders, similar to the animations in this game's Steam trailer.

Yes, I’ve been hearing more and more people mention this — and honestly, it’s starting to worry me quite a bit.

The main issue is that Steam doesn’t clearly communicate where they draw the line when it comes to realism.

They even have a “realistic” tag, so I don’t really see why the visuals can’t be realistic.

But one thing is clear: they absolutely do not want AI-generated realistic images or anything that looks like real people in sexual or nude situations.

For example, the poster of the porn shop in my game — where you can see a topless woman — caused major problems.

I had to go back and forth for at least two weeks just to get the demo approved after removing that image.

And just to be clear, the demo has no sex scenes, just some women shown with bare breasts.

So yes — it’s very tight, and yes — I’ve had to blur a lot of things just to avoid sanctions, because they don’t really warn you beforehand.

One question I’m now asking myself:

Steam seems to be very sensitive to how you describe your content in the build declaration.

I know a dev who got banned immediately, without any review, just for using the word “college”.

Because in English, unlike in French, “college” implies underage characters — and that was enough for an instant ban, with no chance to explain.

Do you know if those devs you mentioned had added the “realistic” tag to their games?

Were they able to speak directly with the Steam team during their review process?

Personally, I had to resubmit my demo six or seven times, because each time they claimed the review failed due to “real people in sexual situations”.

Would you mind sharing the names of the games that were excluded?

I think it's High School not college that is a no go cause College should be 18+ usually and the fact there is a decent amount of college games on steam.
Yes, exactly — I know there’s a mix-up between English and French meanings, and that dev got caught by it just like I almost did just now while translating.

And bam — instant sanction, with no chance to change or even explain.

I don't know Steam and I don't know if they accept porn games but if they do I don't think it's hard to understand what content they accept, simple just download some and analyze it. It seems to me that the unclear and uncommunicative policy they adopt is stressful, therefore I don't think it's a good idea to continue with publishing attempts after having obtained such multiple and incomprehensible rejections. Have a nice day.

The demo was actually approved by Steam — but only after I made all the required adjustments!

And honestly, it’s easy to say that when you’re not relying on the game’s revenue to make a living.

I’m not doing this in my spare time anymore — this is my full-time job now.

You know, some of my reviews here confirm that I am a fan of your project and I follow some other games but I am not one who frequents this environment often, but for the little experience and for what I have seen here there are only two ways to be successful: managing to allude to supporters (and I don't think it's the best way and there are some who are really good at making fun of people) or publishing updates that respect a fixed deadline and not too long (I think maximum two months but there is someone who updates every 15 days and has had an astonishing success). For the rest I don't think you lack skills to orbit in this environment. Good luck.

Believe it or not, that's a good sign :ROFLMAO:. Some people get rejected and then can't upload anything again.

Mmm... I don't think so; it would have been words like "school" or "high school".

"College" is allowed, in fact, there are games like College Kings for sale on Steam.
Do you know if those devs you mentioned had added the “realistic” tag to their games?
I don't remember, but I don't think so. At least, there is no such tag in the Steam database.
Were they able to speak directly with the Steam team during their review process?
No, I can't remember the reviewer's name... I think it's Mary or something like that. She just rejects them, giving a vague reason, and they can't appeal or re-upload something with the same name. It's very unfair, and goodbye to the $100 they spent to get the review done .
Personally, I had to resubmit my demo six or seven times, because each time they claimed the review failed due to “real people in sexual situations”.
Then you're on the right track, and you've got another kinder reviewer!

The best thing to do is send them the still renders used for the animation, so they can see that the characters are not real people.

There is one that I would prefer not to share, as the person had to delete everything and simply retired.

The other one was the game "Boundaries of Morality", made by Novel.

You can see their video and the previews they had on Steam (the original Steam page has already been deleted); just click on "View screenshots".

They are continuing with their project on Patreon for now, and hopefully they will go ahead with it.

They already had two games published on Steam before, but the problem here was the AI animations.

Another widely discussed problem is the recent scandal surrounding the game "No Mercy", with rumours of stricter controls following the events that occurred.
