I think many people here are mixing two things: the story pace and the development progress. We need to remember that the VN should be done thinking in the final user of the game, who will play the game when is complete. I read many complaints about that 2 years have passed and there's no sex with another man than her husband. You are forgetting that the game experience that we have, who are waiting months for new updates, will not be the same experience for who will play the game when is finished. The 2 years waiting for a sex scene with another man for us, will be like 2 hours for a player of the complete version. Do you think that 2 hours of play time in which there is a lot of flirting, teasing and several sex scenes with the husband and lesbian sex scenes is really that much waiting? stoper is creating an erotic VN with explicit sex not a pornographic one. And you should understand that both things are not the same. The erotic novels have higher artistic values and an interest in narrating a coherent story, which could involves drama, psychological restlessness, conflict, etc. So, the stories need time to emerge.

Nobody is happy with the slow development, me included. I think that to create this kind of projects you should work in team, but stoper isn't earning that much to hire more people. So, it is what it is.

Your argument is based on a false assumption. That there definitely will be a final version for players to see. The big graveyard of abandoned wegs disproves that assumption. The slower pace of development, the more likely something will come up that kills it. It could be anything, from devs getting bored, patreons getting bored, Patreon changing rules, family issues, to dev finding more profitable endeavors or a combo of more than one. Being a popular game doesn't guarantee anything as we have seen those getting killed too.

In the end, if a dev wants their game to be judged as a final product, they should be releasing it as a final product and then attach a price on it for sale. Like a proper game. But that would probably earn way less money than the Patreon method now, wouldn't it? So,since they are choosing the episodic Patreon update method, they should be ready to take criticism accordingly.

Amahl Farouk I'm trying to speed up the development process, but there isn't much that I can do. The only thing is to lower the technical quality (fixing every piece of clothing, not making clothing morphs for undressing and stuff, not fixing the weird character bends and twists, not fixing the long hair, etc..). I understand that most people don't care about this stuff, but I do. And if I'm not happy with the game I make, why even bother?
I don't care about the money. If I wanted to make money, I'd be making a first person incest game with male protagonist. Daddy is dead, and the guy with the big dick (you) has to take care of mommy and little sis. Or just a random harem game. Slap some fast DAZ renders with default assets, and as long as it looks decent and there's a lot of sex, people are happy.

There are only a handful of truly creative developers in this market and the ones who combine their art with at least a common sense level of business can make a crap-ton of money and truly live independently.

Unlike many others who like it, it is the part where the protagonist is already corrupt and without shame, I like it best is the way to get there, I love to see the emotion of Jess when she does something inappropriate like flirting with other men and then simulate as if nothing happened. I like the fact that history takes the time to build this corruption, because when it really happens and Jess has sex with other men it will be seen as a satisfying reward.
I also like the fact that she relates to people who treat her well and don't hurt her in any way.
Hopefully when the point of maximum corruption is reached, they still give you the option that Jess can maintain her status quo, that is, she will still maintain her boyfriend and continue to see her other lovers casually without her boyfriend knowing about it.
Yeah, something I really like is when the girl is very libertine and there are no dramas or consencuances because of it. Everyone has fun and no one gets hurt.
Now it is a shame the slow development of the game, especially when dev devotes himself to 2 or 3 other projects in parallel, but well it all comes down to praying that he does not get bored and leave the game.

By doing that more games like those Japanese RPGM Maker will drop. I once played one of these and got bored, because there were almost no content in it. Later I checked the renders - what did I find? ~ 400 images in total for a complete game (yes, drawn images with no background etc...)! A single update of any game has more renders than those. Do we really want that?

Another point is, all the little things we see in stoper's renders all cost money. If you buy one of the latest dresses you sometimes pay 20 bucks for that. So, a dress here, a new set of lingerie, a new haircut, decoration etc. You easily end up with a few 100 bucks that way.

I suspect you didn't even read half my reply. As I've mentioned, I'm quite content with living with hints, even if the gratification is delayed. I started following Good Girl Gone Bad long before EvaKiss even begun the lesbian arc there, and same thing with her next game.
