Then your post has nothing to do with the engine. All you suggestion is: stop wasting time on creating animations. At the same time he could stop wasting time on choices and different paths.

What you mean is that he should stop wasting time developing the VN and just make comics with his renders right?
That won't really change anything in hindsight besides lowering render count a bit as he spends more time creating renders than porting them into renpy for creating a VN, so unless his speed and productivity changes for the better nothing matters.

Yes, right. It was he who clearly stated in a post that it took almost a third of the time to make paola's comic, in fact it came out almost immediately and honestly it doesn't change much compared to the sequenced images of a vn. I speak according to my needs this is clear, I do not attack those who want to wait 6 months for an update, they are happy.

For real comics you have to work on page layouts. But he could just make renders named 1 to 999 with small speech bubbles. But Paola is also a kinetic story (without choices and branching to take into account) like most stories, so there is also that for the quicker speed of making

I know that there has been some frustration with Stoper and the length of time this update has taken, but can I just say that Stoper is really good compared to the dev for A Wife and Mother? We had a whole meltdown today over there from the dev, and while I don't want get off topic I felt like it was a good time to come over here and appreciate that Stoper seems like a good dude. He's a dev that I have enjoyed supporting.
