Hi, everyone.
I did some good progress this week, now that my health is back in order. Just finishing one spicy scene, and I have a couple more to do before the update is ready. The damn virus was a real setback, but now things are back to normal. I can't give you any release window, two of the remaining scenes are pretty complex, and I haven't decided how wild I'll go with them.
I promised a glimpse at Jessica cheerleader outfit, so here it is. Well, probably not exactly what you've expected But you'll get it in the update

ADVENTURES OF WILLY D, for now this comes to mind but there can be others safely, the renders in this game are also of great quality and if you consider the animations inside you understand what I mean. Also add that this is a point and click adventure and we did bingo. Mine is not a real criticism but I would like to understand better

First of all the most important think is that stoper recovered fully from the virus.

From the update it is still very difficult to guess how far away the update is, as usual. Some complex scenes left and not sure what else he will want to add, i think the update has very slim chances to be released in the next 30 days, and if it takes 2 more months i would not be surprised. Will wait patiently as usual and see.

There are no "paths" in the game. You make the decisions for Jessica. If you don't want her to jump on an old man's dick, don't make her do it.

Okay. sorry for not mention that I have cheated a bit by using the walkthrough mod which give you a "slut path", "true to Connors path" and a "normal path". I know she turns out as for what input I pick (without mod) but the thing is that those "slut" alternatives exists so it is very tempting to pick them and if you don't keep track you will end up with a Jessica as I described above.

IMO, Connor being the vigilante is far too easy. Besides, the vigilante was already in action before Connor returned to town. If anything I suspect that where Connor works is a front for a group of people who are carrying out these vigiante attacks. Connor could now be one of those.

With regard to her interaction with the Mayor (and possibly in the future the Senator (or was it Congressman?) power, influence, wealth can be great aphrodisiacs to some women. She felt it on her first visit to the Mayor's office and it's only escalated since. THere's no doubt that she loves Connor but she has already said her relationship with him has faltered since his return. Could be it's her more than him that's changed, especially since she got her new job.

I'm not wishing to be critical, but I would ask you how many times you have played the game, and have you gone through ALL the possibilities, not just your chosen path?

I do agree with you about Tommy though. My thoughts were going along the line of Tommy's friend (the one she sent that saucy picture of herself to) as being someone who could spark some kind of interest at the LARP event rather than Tommy himself.

details, attention to detail, lighting, etc. etc.

The complexity of a scene is often related to assets or gesture used in a scene.

This can be hair assets, dforce, environment, facial expression, light setting etc. Do you remember the scene in the Sex shop? The DVD shelve in the store had a bunch of real porn movie covers and titles. All were hand picked and manual edit to fit the dvd covers. Also, the livelier a render feels the more fine work is needed to set up the scene. Not many devs do it which cause their renders look "cold" and "empty".

Some assets are a pain to work with too. In the game I worked, a blindfold asset changed the morph of the nose of the character. Adjusting this takes time. Sometimes even days!

Another problem is DAZ3d itself. The bigger your library is the slower Daz will become and might crash during a scene. When this happens and you didn't save your last progress you will have to set up the scene again.

Hopefully, this gives you a little insight of how complex 3D creation can be.

Basicly what the other two people above me said. Having the 3d models do some proper posing and proper expressions takes time. There's like a handful of developpers around here that do take the time to work on this. Then there's lightning and shading, working on backgrounds, etc. And after all that there's postwork in photoshop to make the renders really shine. If you compare Stoper's work with 95% of the other 3D games you find around here you'll notice a huge difference in the final product quality. The vast majority just half-ass it. They pick up some presets for poses and expressions, don't waste their time with setting lightning for their scenes, barely use any shaders, etc. Many people may not care for this attention to detail, but there are those who like me do care, because it helps a lot in making the story more engaging.

Then you also have the fact that this game actually has a story behind it and things actually make sense. Characters behave like real people and to achieve that you need to spend a little while in actually thinking in the scenes, the dialogues and the several interactions. Most developpers around here couldn't care less about that and just write some stupid story with stupid characters and throw you a bunch of sterotypical scenes with the fetishes their audiance wants them to and it's done.

That's why a quality product takes a lot more time to come out then the rest.

It's collection of previous choices and stoper's attention to details! For example - if you don't ask to be spanked from the director, then "cheerleader meeting" with him will not happen and another event will take this place. I wonder what it will be by the way....
