You need to start to v08 content where the book comes into stock. Basically just doing other quests.
You can either have sufficient intelligence to convince the boss, you can have sufficient self-awareness and desire to tease the boss or you can have enough relationship with Olivia the secretary to ask her to help you. The option to raise her relationship points is only visible if you have any positive stress value.
