And as others in the thread mentioned, indeed. JPDE2, just like JPDE1, will have lewds when it will have lewds. The characters are young adults so compared to the first game, occasions are going to be a lot more.

But the general sentiment of people who've played the first game is that while they came for lewds and chuckles, it's everything else they stayed for. Hence the priorities as they stand.

Also: I've had some really awful experiences trying to find and keep NSFW artists long term over the years Couple that with the high price their artwork commands, and yeah. It may look like a high hurdle but I can't in good conscience go for nsfw art that is lower quality than the rest of the game's assets.

Stupid question: is this a direct sequel to the first game, or is it a spiritual successor? Asking as the MC looks quite different.

It is indeed a direct sequel, taking place after a three years time skip, and indeed the MC looks quite different... Wonder what happened :)

Me and other devs of RWBY fan-games have been asking ourselves the same question... We don't know, it will depend on the new owners of the IP and how they decide to approach fan creations.

There are, yeah. I noticed that most people in JPDE1 barely used multiple saves so I decided to go with a social experiment. The way routes in JPDE2 work won't require that many saves...

GOOD NEWS, EVERYBODY! :D (Also, Happy Pride month!)

1) Episode 06 is out for everyone, Episode 07 is out for Supporters.
2) I've found an artist I can trust... Which means l00ds for JPDE2 are now on the menu! We got a little spice as an appetizer in Ep07.

Hey meinos I have a question... Are we going to be able to have a intimate relationship with the entire RWBY team or is it going to be limited to 1 out of them like the dance?

Will lewd scenes be added retroactively in already developed chapters or will they only be added to chapters post funding (I.E. only ch 7 onwards) ?

It's still a bit early in the story so there really aren't many situations where lewds can happen before now... Maybe I will retroactively add an Evelyn scene but it's more for stuff going forward from now on.

Also I was thinking of adding extra spicy stuff in a separate download like I did the first game (that way Patreon can't come down on me).

I played the first game and it was pretty enjoyable and I joined the discord years ago, but I was never able to find a FAQ about how the routes for the first games were going to be handled going into the second?

We got pretty divergent character paths.
