I understand this might severely hurt the brain of someone that has ocd or a structured way of thinking, but while still being rough, it's entirely made on purpose.Hey,
Also while I have your attention, I feel like it would be worth making the achievment rewards more consistent. Like why does kissing Rose give you an extra day but most girls its just a stat boost. And why does sleeping with Ms Pearl decrease the energy required to work at the fast food place? Like I get the general theme of each one (Natasha requires money and so her achivements give money) but they do seem quite random at times.
Personally I would reccomend having general rules for each activity with each girl. So Maybe- First Kisses give you +5 stat boost on a new run and having sex with a girl for the first time gives you +8 stat boost on a new run. Then have each girl have a 'boost type' so which matches her character (Carol could be Culture, while Katrina would be Intelligence). This can give the player an idea of how to boost their stats like 'Oh I need more intelligence on runs, I should focus on Katrina). This helps them organise their routes though the game. The rewards should also help link to other girls, so the player is jumping from girl to girl, progressing more each time. (You can keep the unique rewards but tie them to unique achievements)
The base concept is that I don't want the game to feel like you're compiling a database of girls and bonuses, same way as I (at least try to) use different approaches and different mechanics to interact with every girl. It's asymmetrical on purpose.
I partially regret that every single girl has a kiss, a fuck and a virgin achievement, and i'll try to discontinue that in the future, except maybe the "fuck" one which is kind of mandatory.
Since the last patch all achievement now show a preview of what they will give, So i guess you can plan ahead now, but I'd prefer if the player was able to think and find his own strategy among chaos than to follow an obvious route.
As most other things, hopefully this will get better with more content being added.
About the cheats. You used a smart method but you probably missed out on most of the flavor text and nosense that you would have encountered if you opened it with Twine and checked passages, which is the way I assumed most people would have used to find codes. The fact that you shared it gives me very simple ideas on how to counter that specific method entirely. But yeah, the minigame was always meant to discourage from posting them.
As I said before, you do you.
Honestly, convincing a single person not to do something like this is as pointless as shoveling snow, maybe solves the problem for a while, maybe it snows again the following day and it was all for nothing. So I won't bother telling you what to do, I'll keep the minigame in cause it would be sad to remove it now and it's kind of fun if not anything else.
I apologize if I sounded dramatic, wasn't my intention. I cracked a lot of stuff in my life, so I don't like being an hypocrite. In an ideal world the same number of people would be supporting me with or without cheats, but unfortunately that's not what the facts show, and I'm still at the point where it makes a big difference financially.
