Now its not like it matters, what is done is done, but I feek like saying pacing was the reason the game failed is disingenuous or at best personal view and not objective
Let’s do some compare and contrast then. Your start was really good and I feel like many others also felt the same way. You introduce Tucker who seems to be a bit of a chad, smart, and has some history with Kaguya.
He does seemed to leverage this during the acting part and gets a little touchy with Kaguya under the sheets. That was pretty sexy. After that? He seems to be upstanding man who tricks Kaguya into a date and seems to want to win her heart. During the bus ride where Kaguya teases him? That should be the opposite. Who is Kaguya? Who stands to lose more in that situation? Even Shirogane would be in some mental warfare with her if he was in Tucker’s position.
Tucker needs to corrupt Kaguya. In the SAO NTR game, the MC has been doing things Asuna to corrupt her while she isn’t aware. Molesting, raping, etc. Eventually he was able to get Asuna in IRL to handjob him while aware and kept going from there. By the end of part 1, Asuna started to really fall.
Then the side characters. The SAO NTR game also included them in various ways that they’ve already been corrupted or started the process as well. If you wanted to slow burn Kaguya, make use of Hayasaka, Chika, Iino, and Kei.
Maybe Chika is already taken by the school principal or something. Hayasaka who is close to Kaguya also gets affected by Tucker.
The point is, you introduced characters but the story is going off in a weird direction that nothing was really happening.
I know you had complications with the two systems of the game but we are consumers; We want a nice and successful product. Have some respect and confidence in your own game.
I really hope you try again in the future because you have something there. Just gotta give it more time to evolve.
