We're rebuilding the game after migrating it to Unreal 5. The content outside is being reintroduced.
This answered my question.
I was wondering because it's been awhile since I played, updated, and everything was gone.
Is the main part of the content on the release going to follow the previous, or is it all going to be different?

We're finishing some last touches this month on the rebuild. This time it's the game settings. Once that's done, we'll be releasing the prologue content and move forward with it until it's done, working on as little side-quests as possible so we can push the main story forward. And then tweak the old quests when it's necessary (Considering that some choices done in the prologue might have affected Kalyskah's personality somehow) and then release them.

Saw this game from someone's banner. Read the intro - vampire RPG, perfect.
Then saw Female Protagonist tag
AUGH
Different strokes for different folks, not going to complain about that
I'm just dying because a vampire VN/RPG/HGame of such a quality was my dream. Someone post the Gosling chair gif for me...

"better performance", but at what cost DLSS GO and loads of UE5 TAA blur and ghosting?
Yeah, some settings etc. right now, give the placeholder vibes off..
But to be fair, it's not like the team had much of a choice. If the game had been close to full release, I’d 100% agree.
But, looking back at the messages here, it seems like that decision wa mor like the necessary evil they had to make..

It's a setback, no doubt, but I’m pretty sure there was valid reasoning behind the scenes that made it seem like the logical step.
I mean, it’s not like developers rebuild their game out of passion, or jump in with hundreds of hours of work for a project in "the promised neverland" without a second thought (i.e migrating from UE4 to UE5).

And you are right. We've been graying our hairs here to try to work as fast as we can on the programming to get the game in shape.

If you check the reviews we have on this website, you'll see that most of the negative reviews come from people saying that the game's performance was bad. And when we looked into the future and decided to release the game on steam, we had to imagine that these reviews would be scaled to a hundred.

The most recent reviews talk about the time that is taking us to bring new content but it's a price we had to pay in order to get the game running butter smooth like it will be once this phase is done.

This month out programmer is bringing a lot of the game's structure to C++, and we got a massive boost in the response time that the code has. Something that people will feel more in the open world but even in the dungeon, the combat should even feel more responsive.

so is the only content the first area/dungeon? Screenshots are misleading then as thats not in the game
also the room/dungeon thingy with the X-frames / bdsm devices dont work at all, as in no one comes to join you

I agree on the "slightly" misleading part, with the screenshots of outside of your castle...

Those are said to be from the time, when the game was still in UnrealEngine4
Devs are now (for quite a while) busy, proting the entire thing to UE5
At least "That's what she said"...

I wouldn't complain too much, as this "Demo" is still free and you shouldn't have paid anything.
So I'm fine with that.

About the BDSM devices:
There are some in your private rooms.
Those are kinda useless currently.

But if you go along with the questline from that darn sexy succubus with that filthy accent
(Oh fuck, how I simp for her!)
You'll get into one of her "playrooms", where you'll find some other BDSM devices and NPCs to help you out with them

i finished all the quests and got the popup "end of demo" and none of the dancers or nemesis or whoever falls me into that other room.
Also if the screenshots outside the castle are not in this build then it shouldnt be shown off. It is misleading.
Regardless if "i havent paid anything" every game on this site is free. Im glad i asked before tho cause i was debating on supporting on patreon, but if the supporter version and this free version are the same then i wont be wasting my money. Probably wouldnt anyways to begin with since, again, misleading people.
The game had more content and ran better on the previous devs/people who were working on it, js.

the dev team hasn't changed, just the game engine. people hear what they want to, make assumptions and then accuse some dev of misleading them.

Dev intentionally attached in-game pictures to this game that arent included in the provided download / build. That is misleading. Thanks for trying tho
The dev didn't do shit. Dev is Kalyskah and thread owner is Muff Diver (former staff). Therefore, the dev can do nothing. Only way to change the image is, if a mod or uploader will change them. So ask them or Kalyskah would need to ask the staff that the "thread ownership" is transferred to him.
