So with what I have worked on so far, you play as Luffy, going through the OP story, but there are a bunch of erotic events happening around him and to him if the player choses.

As far as the artworks are good and the plot is well set, the game is going to be fine. But in my own opinion, One Piece is not very popular in Europe/America as Dargon Ball or Naruto, so it might attract less players who play only for the theme, and making Luffy is MC is not really good, because porn based game need a pervert MC (or at least they have enough impure thought) and Luffy is just like Goku, too innocent. Anyway good luck dude

That was my thought to about Luffy being too innocent. But I am making all of the events happen around Luffy, kind of like how you can spot chichi with roshi and willy.
I was thinking of naruto but then the only person I could think of is Jiraiya, and then all of the characters would need to be aged up and stuff.

well it's you to decide your own style, maybe come up with a unique game is a great idea, RPGM is a nice choice because almost all anime-parody game is Renpy, but dont touch Naruto, tbh, there are like tons of Naruto game on this site

Having a competition might be beneficial for everyone. Since there is only 1 Dragon Ball RPG game like this, it is monopolized. It's just like how Intel ripped of their customers for the longest time until AMD came out with their Ryzen series which gave consumers more cores for a cheaper price. Just saying

In my opinion, I don't think this is feasible with the main characters of the series, but I think it would be something interesting to do with some of the secondary characters such as Mai, Launch or An'nin if the latter is included in the game.
