Usually you get a sex on chapter 3. Mostly try to level up all characters, and don't change chapters before all quests and dialogues are seen. Blue quests are just cinematic and many leads to sex
I always refer to the table in wiki, what level the characters should have before going to next chapter and and do all possible quests. I had my first scene now with the elf girl. If sharty is the first, then i have to focus on her, because i always have her in the store because she seems weak in dungeons

In general, I suggest to level ALL your characters... those that seem weak, useless and/or squishy in battle overcome their weaknesses with rank ups (new titles), as those upgrade some otherwise unupgradable stats (Hit, Eva, Mov, etc) AND sometimes give very clutch and valuable new skills.

Sharty, for one, gets way more in terms of surviveability when you unlock Bloodsuck 2 (frequent triggers) and then 3 (triggers every single time).

All cursed items can be removed either at the church (costs 500), or anywhere by using special consumables (you can buy those at the church, 1000 per one).

Sharty is a strong damage dealer, she is frail but has powerful gamble attacks. Also, she has Omni magic ranged and meele. I trully recomend level her up on first runs, since she will carry you. Later, after level 50, she becomes far weaker.

As for Servalwi, she is a good healer at start, and that is all. She will only deal good damage after you get her artilhery barrage, then she will turn into a demon with 9 range

Deadbeat is just an easy way to level up for peoples who dislike intense grinding. The last deadbeat is the most relevant, since the enemys respaw and king puteto has regen. Dont kill king puteto, keep hitting him to level up, only kill him before finish the game.

There is, i don't have the sheet now, but you don't need to worry much about it on first run. Second run you must level up everyone. If you do everything available on first run, keeping your chars on same level, you willl mostly unlock everything available.

Only thing I'll add to what Soulinor is saying, is to be careful of Suina's level-ups if you aren't using the NG+ class carry over option. Suina gets hard shafted by getting a class-up at level 12. And then she doesn't get her next class up until a quest that's almost endgame.

Stat caps are based on class. If a character levels up and their stats are at the cap, they just can't get a boost in the capped stats. By the time you reach Suina's class quest, most characters will be in their 30s, maybe even a couple in their early 40s. So, its like a 30 level gap between two of her class-ups. All other character have 10-15 or so levels between their class-ups. So for most of the game, Suina's stat caps are criminally low.

If you level her up alongside the other characters, she'll hit the caps early and waste a lot of level-ups where she barely gets any stats and will become nigh-unusable. She needs to be level 22 and Wil at level 27 for the class quest to appear. So, once she hits level 22, just hard bench her until her class-up quest shows up in Chapter 7 to not waste her level-ups.

If you don't do this, Suina lags behind everyone by a lot even in endgame because of all the wasted levels. Once she gets her class-up from the quest, you can just take her to DeadBeat Dungeon for speed-leveling now that her stat caps are higher and she'll catch up to everyone fine. (Especially since by then, you'll have new weapons for her, that when combined with her class-up quest will cover most of her weaknesses and make her start getting pretty strong.) By the time you can carry class-ups into NG+, you won't have to worry about this.

which lists character level requirements for important events in each chapter. The wiki also has a lot of good info in general and will answer most of your questions. Note for the chart below.

"NOTE: As said above, this table lists the minimum level and latest that one has to be in order for the event to happen. This does not include earliest time for event to occur. (it is better to over level.)"

thanks but like i said, i already read that able and almost everything in the wiki but i couldn't find a recommended level per chapter, so i guess i just level them up equally, at least for the women because there is no male scenes

You should level males too. Some events, craftable gear, else are locked behind level checks of all kinds of characters. Males included. You're not playing just for the H scenes, right? But want your extra dungeons and full list of cool gear too.

So, those mod tools that come packaged with the 1.1 tweaked torrent. They were mainly used for the translation, but I believe the translator also messed with the actual code to fix some bugs. I was wondering if anyone's ever tried to actually mess with the gameplay itself using that. Or if its even possible. I'd like to know if its possible to do before spending tons of time on them only to find its impossible.

I mainly want to do three things.

1.) I want to make some edits to buff some of the weaker characters/get rid of the bell-curves of usability some of them have. (Particularly thinking of Suina, Sharty, Melodiana, and the Yuichiris. They all only get going in NG+ endgame, which is really late. This should be the simplest one, considering all of the changes are easy to manually do with SpoilerAL or KAMI-Helper. These changes would just be default game behavior.)

2.) Open a few things for player preference. For example, not being forced to evolve Aht from the more unique/interesting mud-dog-thing she starts as into Yet-Another-Anime-Girl to advance story scenes that are completely unrelated to her and she doesn't even appear/speak in.

(I don't understand what Eushully was thinking there. The point of the scene is to imbue a wedding dress with the power of Earth. Which the game tells you Wil can't do without transforming Aht. However, Wil already did that with a pre-changed Aht for Yuela's Beast Armor. Armor that is meant for fighting regularly with instead of wearing just once. Thus, the armor would logically need a lot more power. So, ???)

3.) Make the Principatus in Hallowed Ground respawn for slightly earlier access to Angel Beads in exchange for slightly more grind monotony than later stages.

There's a Gallery option in the main menu. Where you select New Game, Load Game, etc. You can keep track there.

Does anyone know how to extract images from the game files (I think they are all encoded in the .ALF files). I wanted to play around with some of the AI decensor programs but I'm already getting stuck on just getting the images

edit: will I've managed to start extracting/converting files one at a time...

You can use the eushully decompilation tools, exs4alf aka . I think exs4alf was even included with my game, whereever I got it from. Use like exs4alf.exe SYS4INI.BIN, and you'll get 5 folders worth of stuff.

This lets you extract the AGF files, after which use to decode them. On a cursory look it seems like all the scene CGs are in DATA2. Usage is e.g. AGF2BMP2AGF -u DATA2 DATA2-BMP to convert an entire folder.

For example, here's EV451BD.BMP from DATA2 (had to recode to PNG to upload):
EV451BD.png

okay, Steam Deck Tutorial, here we go:

Install the game
Start up your Steam Deck, go into Desktop Mode.

I downloaded Kamidori Alchemy Meister (English Aroduc 1.1 plus tweaks) from sukebei.
The torrent does not need installation, it just need to be unzipped.

Extract the game to your home directory, e.g. /home/deck/Kamidori Alchemy Meister/
Optional: Extract the decensor from this forum thread, overwrite the files.

Install Proton-GE for cutscenes
Still in Desktop Mode, open the Discovery Store (App store).
Install and open ProtonUp-Qt.
Install GE-Proton9-22 via ProtonUp-Qt, restart Steam after installation.

Note: As of writing this post (2025-01-06) the current release of Proton-GE is GE-Proton9-22.
If there is a newer, stable version available, install that.

Add a Shortcut to Steam
Go to Steam -> Library -> Add a Game -> Add a Non-Steam Game...
Navigate to your extracted files, e.g. /home/deck/Kamidori Alchemy Meister/age.exe
After it is added, go into your Steam Library and open the Properties of the new shortcut age

Game Properties
On the Tab Shortcut:

Rename the shortcut to your liking, e.g. Kamidori
Target should be /home/deck/Kamidori Alchemy Meister/age.exe
Start in should be /home/deck/Kamidori Alchemy Meister/
Launch Options should be LC_ALL=ja_JP.UTF-8 LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8 %command%
settings1.png

On the Tab Compatibility:
Check the Box Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool
Use the previously installed Proton-GE version, in our case GE-Proton9-22
settings2.png

Controller Settings
Edit your controller settings
Bind D-Pad to the arrow keys
Bind Right Trackpad to mouse
Bind L1 to Select
Bind R1 to Start
Bind L2 to Right mouse click
Bind R2 to Left mouse click

Ingame Settings
In-Game -> Settings -> Text
Change System Font to Noto Sans CJK JP Black
Change Game Font to Noto Sans CJK JP Thin
