Hello everyone, this is Fragolina Studio, the developer behind Kamogawa Island.

First, I honestly didn't know there was a thread about my game, and I'm overjoyed that people are discussing it. This is my first game, so it means the world to me that others besides myself are actually playing it.

Second, I've read your concerns and will try to address them here:

NTR: The main heroines (Jessie, Vanessa, Zoe, and Emmie) are intended as the main character's harem. Side characters like Nadeko are separate from the main character and may have NTR, swinging, or sharing scenarios. However, since they are side characters, their stories are not required to progress with the main heroines, so you can easily skip them if that's not your preference. Kamogawa Island is designed to be a place of hedonistic desires, and a strictly vanilla story felt too out of place for the setting, which is why the side heroines exist. Also, they are a stranger to the main character.

Game Compression: I plan to compress the renders to reduce the game's overall size, and I hope this helps.

Bugs: As this is my first game, I thoroughly tested it myself but didn't encounter the bugs some of you have mentioned. My top priority is to fix these bugs and deliver a more polished version of this initial release. After that, I'll create a roadmap detailing the content I plan to add.

I hope you can understand my situation, and again, thank you so much for playing my game. Discovering this thread has truly made my day. I'll do my best to repay your support with a more polished release as soon as possible!

I understand your vision and respect your worldbuilding but as someone who loves harem games I just cant see your game as something I would personally enjoy even tho I should be in main target audience, I feel like your game is aimed at netorare/swinging crowd and no matter how much your going to say "its optional" wont change the fact that people who like those things will have more content to enjoy in a game thats not even aimed at them. Mixing netorare and harem (while harem is supposedly the main point) is just a lose/lose situation in my opinion, harem crowd wont touch the netorare content so its pointless to even have it and netorare crowd most likely wont like how little of said content there is for them to enjoy and ask for more (hell if I was one of them I would 100% ask for more), anyway although I wont be playing/supporting your game I wish you the best with creating it ! Kinda a shame really beacuse I liked the character designs.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who helped me discover new bugs and provided valuable suggestions. Version 0.1b has just been released, including a clarification on the game's status.

❗Clarification – No NTR:

There’s been some confusion, so let’s make it crystal clear:

Kamogawa Island does NOT contain any NTR (Netorare) content—now or in future updates.
Previously, I mentioned that some side characters might feature swinging or sharing elements—but that’s no longer the case. I’ve decided to completely remove all forms of NTR, even from side characters.

Whether it’s a main heroine or a side character, you won’t find NTR anywhere in the game.
Kamogawa Island is all about building trust, romance, and desire—without betrayal.
