IMO, this is a natural process. People are by nature ambitious and strive to achieve a high position in the society around them, and given the amazing prospects open to KaneDom, this path naturally looks very tempting. The paradox (or just a fun fact) is that in a femdom-oriented game, the central idea of climbing upwards, from the level of a pathetic prison inmate to the master of a vast empire, is itself a dominant one.
Hey man, some characters are just directed a certain type of way! For example, the sub path for Veronica won’t be just purely sub, you’ll need to have some critical thinking with Kane!… Juliette is like someone who just will want Kane as a subby… Elena, would probably take Kane in as a sub because of her relationship with Kane’s Mother
I would agree, but there's nothing stopping people from playing multiple routes, which is what I'm assuming most people do.
I would actually probably agree with that statement given the nature of the game and it's setting.

Who knows… a lot of people have inner desires, no matter the background or upbringing… that’s why we’re given the choice to either indulged in the MCs desires in either a sub way or dom way (evil and or good)… having a “Canon” Kane is difficult to express when there’s different views based on the setting in place… For me and others, preferably it would be sub, but im not personally against the dom paths either, for others it’s the other way… plus… ur missing k4/subk5… That’s why I’ll contribute to the discussions from a sub point of POV… the silent majority will have a voice RARARAT

I think it's important to clarify one nuance. If we're talking about this site, I think there are more dom players, just compare the number of AVN made for players who prefer the maledom component and the number of femdom games, which are pretty niche games. But speaking directly to this thread, yeah, there are probably indeed more sub players than dom players, but that makes sense given that KG is originally a femdom-orientated game.
