But in extension to your points, many ppl playing Dom route might dislike male-sub scenes in general even if it's female-on-male. The dev notes talking about "surrounded by Femdom even in Dom route"

However, for me the merits of this game definitely outweigh the negatives of having to contemplate background femdom with minor characters or even conventionally major ones like Seth (Olivia's "brother"). I mean, I can put up with it, because everything else really appeals to me. (Intrigue, a twisted and interesting plot, well-written characters and fairly deep dialogues).

Yeah. For me, in this setting, rather than gender, the world is divided into have & have-nots. I won't care about the gender of the ass as long as it's not mine, lol.

Personal preference aside, I find settings where one gender domintes the other stupid. This game is definitely more realistic as the femdom is artificially built up, while men can still hold power (Alexander Karsson being a huge example).
Also I don't get empathising with every male in the story, but I like reverse-NTR, so maybe I'm the one coloring all males in a vindictive shade
But in essence both Kwame and Jake and Zak are nothing more than small bugs.
Which is why I think showing that would be nice. I like the branding scene cause it just showed that. A similar chastity cage scene would've been nice, keeping the pod setting intact while outlining the differences between the ranks without interfering with the MC plot route.
It's still there, like the branding scene, or the Elena fireplace scene(where she points out the human furniture, outlining the difference on status), etc. And I guess it makes sense that the earlier episodes the MC was still gaining ranks. With the Zach & Amy scene as the start, I hope we get to see more of the pod in the dom route... (As bugs ofc )

I don't particularly like femdom either, as I don't play sub MC or female MC, but as long as it is not done to the MC himself, I don't really care. So easier for me to like the game.
Also, I didn't play the sub route either. But I look over every game's code to assess the structure, so I know it somewhat.
(Structure is okay, but you can see this is a 1st game in the implementation of variables & conditionals)
