Olivia and Kane have different mothers, but they still share the same father, so they are blood related. However, he shares the same father with every Karlsson sister, so I don’t know what the direction is.

Yeh, the whole setup and purpose of the gambit as explained in this update seems destined to get the dev in hot water with the paymasters eventually. I guess she'll whip that bridge when she gets to it.

It is a fairly easy fix, just use words like housemate, roommate things like that. Then an awesome modder will insert the incest patch
No... MC's isn't Karlsson's son. His father is the guy Callista was speaking to during the flashback scene. The one who helped her get away from the Karlsson Group.

This is exactly correct, further confirmed during the Veronica/Elena/Yvette meeting, where the way to win the gambit is revealed. Veronica says something like Alexander wanted one of his daughters to have a son with Callista's son, not his son...
Right. As I understand things:
- Veronica, Dominque, Alessandra, Juliette, and Olivia share the same father (Alexander) but each have different mothers
- Olivia's mother is not Callista; I suspect it is Elena
- I suspect Veronica's mother is likely Yvette?
- Kane's mother is Callista, father is very probably the mystery man who helped her escape
- Seth's mother is probably Callista, father unknown (perhaps the same as Kane?)
There is no blood relationship between Kane and Olivia.

What the dev's actually said (unless I'm mistaken) is that (a) she's working with a more narrow definition of incest than most and (b) there won't be any biological sister/brother sexual content (and that she has some qualms writing incestuous relationships because of her experiences working with real life incest victims). What that means in connection with the revelations in the most recent chapter is left as an exercise for the reader.
Other than that, she's mentioned that either of Olivia or Kane starting a relationship with a character will likely lock the other protagonist out of a relationship with that same character.

Olivia speaks of Callista as her mother in the conversation with Elena; of course she may be mistaken. There are some hints in the conversation between Veronica, Yvette, and Elena to support your suspicion.
Yes, Veronica explicitly refers to Yvette as "Mother".

Yep, Veronica is capable of being ruthlessly extreme even when she knows it isn't necessary, which implies she secretly enjoys exerting her power to make others suffer even though she pretends she doesn't. Elena comments on it in the very same meeting. There have been enough other small examples of Veronica getting off on the suffering of others to confirm Elena's accusation. Given that Elena didn't even know she had a living daughter until the bombshell was dropped on her, it fits that Olivia wasn't told either. Olivia was probably either an IVF baby produced without Elena's knowledge, or Elena was lied to and told her baby was stillborn when her baby was instead whisked away at birth by Alexander Karlsson and given to Callista to raise. It has been established that Alexander Karlsson in his latter days was a cold-hearted bastard who thought the world of Callista and deeply desired an heir. I can easily see him stealing Elena's child and giving her to Callista to raise thinking Callista would raise a better heir than Elena.
