Sarlak looks "harmless" enough, in my opinion. In the sense that we don't see all the details of what he's doing..I think the most evil scenes in KG have the most psychological and emotional impact, creating a very heavy atmosphere. For example, the scene of killing the old man from the wasteland in the K1 area (ep6)..I've seen the renders and know what happened to that old man when the air was pumped out of the cell...But in the end I didn't let her kill him at all, specifically creating a save where Kane was able to influence Olivia's decision.
That's the power of such scenes...
.they hit you right in the soul, and you can't buy off your conscience by saying "was it Olivia who pushed the button or Juliette who ordered to drown people alive, getting orgasmic from their agony".... No, you let them do it. So in that sense, I found the Sarlacc scene not as oppressive as the previous evil scenes...(although here I saved both girls by not giving them to Sarlacc and pissing Juliette off).
