So we all know there won't be incest in this game because Tess abhors it, however it obviously comes down to the person but Olivia Kane would be as close to incest as can be without meeting the legal definition. Sure, they're not blood related, but they were still raised as brother and sister. Nadia Kane werent raised together, hell barely know each other yet they are blood related. So my ultimate question is which is weirder Kane/Olivia or Kane/Nadia.

I'll preface this by saying, as long as adults, consenting and no one is getting hurt (and no intentional grooming has taken place)...I personally don't care who is fucking who, why, where or with what. None of my business and who am I to tell two people in love what they can and can't do.

That said, Kane/Olivia would definitely be weirder. As you say, been raised together (until Olivia was at least old enough to start being taught on her own). All Kane has ever known is that Liv is his sister (remains to be seen just how long exactly Liv knew he wasn't). This is why it's Olivia who asks Kane if he can see her differently, as a woman and not his sister.

Nadia may be blood related but until a few days ago he never even knew she existed. He is still unaware of who she is so why would you 'not' be romantically/sexually interested in a person (applies to RL too) that you do not know, have never known? Plenty of real life cases of siblings seperated at birth/young age later meeting and getting together only to find out later they are related. So what...are they happy? Are they hurting anyone?

Besides, with no prior familial relations through the generations, the odds of any birth defect are no higher than any non-related couple. It's all crap peddled by the church. It's wrong, illegal...because of the church (and then reinforced through family) and sorry, but in my firm opinion, laws from the church and bible (other than shit like don't kill people) have zero place in any modern society or political reasoning (and besides, apaprently Eve only had 2 sons anyway remember....soooo....yeah lol *shrugs*).

Barring another masked figure, I believe most of the big questions have been answered or are known. The only debates thats happening nowadays is whether or not Olivia is a secret agent.

I'm with Mav, in that I don't see it as weird, only taboo. Plus, it's only taboo because society (and the church) want to decide for me. BTW, Mav, just because the church is run by assholes, don't blame the writers of the bible. The story of Lot being seduced by his daughters is presented in the light of necessary procreation just as you point out about Eve, and let's not forget Noah. I won't even start on where Lilith comes into all of that...

I don't think it's terribly profound that there is, currently, less activity in the thread. Rather, it's typical. It's a type of "law of diminishing return". Immediately after an update the conversation is intense and participation is high. As the time goes on before the next update, the amount of participation and enthusiasm diminishes. If you made a graph, I think you would also see that this pattern gradually increases in magnitude and duration as update after update both increase in number and time between. Things will pick up again after the next one, I'm quite certain.

I think is normal btw, after all we have discussed all possible theories, or at least the theories which really are important for the main plot. For me KG became less interesting when Tess said she didn't want incest and these things, the removal of the evil dom path.. I started this game with the sub path, but I discovered the evil dom path and man.. That was intense, It hurted me a little when Tess removed it (but I understand why tho).

When the new chapter arrives the thread will have more activitie, but I think is not going to be the same, the main plot is already discovered, and this is normal, and we know pretty much about the characters and their objetives and desires so I don't think it will be a lot of things to discuss, or maybe Tess surprise me, I would love that

Yeah, for me incest is taboo, I mean, I don't now if I would be good with a friend of mine having sex with his sister, or inside my family, I don't know, but I know it exists and if people want to fuck inside the family... I don't really care, I mean, who cares?

This is just not true. Im a doctor btw so this is 100% in my wheelhouse to comment on (also did a major in genetics but thats undergraduate work). Having more consanguinity in a family history DECREASES the amount of genetic defects long term as it reveals autosomal recessives in the pool that can then be acted on (i.e. selected against). But a single event of consanguinity is always going to carry a higher risk of defects. Its simple genetics. Also you can just go on google scholar and see countless studies on this xD. Theres a decent one looking at consanguineous marriage in Saudi Arabia that shows that even in families that have done it a long time (i.e. have removed a lot of recessives from their genetics), theres still an increased overall prevalence of defects.

We can agree that religious rules shouldnt apply to people en masse. Its fine for someone to believe in whatever they want (as long as they dont affect anyone else), but forcing it on others is where reasonable people draw the line. However that is not what happened with consanguinity. If you want to disprove it you need more than just claiming it to be a myth. Theres a lot of data to explain away and basic genetic theory (like highschool level genetics really) to re-imagine. Also if one believes that the proof is in the pudding, highly theocratic countries of semitic faiths have higher consanguinity than other similarly developed nations, so even if its outlawed in Leviticus, its not exactly limited as of today. Secular societies are oddly more strongly against it, likely due to the science side of things. Things like polygamy being illegal is something I would agree with you on. Bible denounces it, and there is no measurable harm whatsoever, other than to tax policy (which gets trickier I guess xD). Its more than 2 happy people wanting to be happy together. It isnt even illegal as an act but only if labeled as such, its like prostitution where its perfectly legal unless someone is paid, which is stupid. Incest isnt without harm (whether the government should outlaw such harms instead of simply advising people is a different discussion).

Also the no incest thing isnt about Mistress Tess hating on incest its cause its against patreon policy. She has never said that consensual incest among people of similar ages is something she had an issue with in games, though she has said that like father and young daughter stuff creeps her out (which is totally reasonable imo). Kane and Olivia isnt specifically incest even though it might feel that way to Kane (and he has the option to say that and cut it off before stuff even happen if the player feels that way).

So its neither about any sort of genetic risk (that actually exists) or about the content being abhorred or immoral, its about platform restrictions. No *actual* incest will exist, but stuff that Kane might possibly feel like being incest already does (Delilah and Olivia).

Corporate Development Memo 7 September 2025

Hi everyone,

I am not quite 100 percent yet so will write a super long post next week which outlines a lot about goals for the update (kind of tweaking and adding from what I wanted to post 9/1 with more context, etc.).

Thank you to Anais for writing the last update with a little help! The "road map" notes she used are pretty accurate in that I am trying to finish content by the end of this month. Then editing...

So long story short, I do have a specific deficiency in my body that was discovered and it will take me roughly about 2ish months most likely to fully recover. I'm taking like a supplement medicine type thing and doing a few lifestyle changes. Everyone around me is making sure I am taking good care of myself, and please bear with me for a bit as I get my full strength back. I did a lot of play testing this week to write notes and kind of do something a big easier on me this week.

I will try and ramp up again this week and see how I feel. I don't think any of this has severely impacted my original timeline/goals except maybe a week or so slower but we'll see.

I apologize for specifically this week as I wasn't super productive and I had Anais help me on the design business side as a priority as I did no design work last week to rest. But I did manage to do 75 renders for the week and I am now about 3.5 scenes left from what I want to do. Finishing the scene from the pics above, a big sub scene game, wrap up a small end to another scene, a third big scene and then that's getting pretty close.

I am feeling much better today than I did the past 4-5 days so I'm pretty optimistic overall I will be fine doing everything. My plan is to give more detail on my original 9/1 post plan in terms of outlining scenarios for a release of Test 8.3.1.

I am also working on a gallery function for a future KG release (150+ scenes in it right now) and figuring out how it unlocks/works overall. But I'm pretty happy with it for sure.

I'm going to try and lock in hard while also making sure I take care of myself better -- I tend to grind really hard in everything I do as a habit but now my priority over anything else is to make sure I'm 100 percent by December for the wedding.

I am enjoying the content I am doing right now and still having fun doing this stuff, so that's really good!

I can tell I am not writing super well and just spitting out words so I will leave it here for now. I appreciate the nice messages I got last week, and I will work very hard to get things out ASAP, thanks!

Key word being mentoring. If I had to guess Im going to guess Claudia. Not a board member def tied to a few people and she is someone that Phoebe would mentor. Only other guess at the moment is katsumi but Im not sure if those two are even communicating.
