This is especially true in the current gaming climate. It would make no economic sense. You have to be really crazy, to be starting a game like this one, right now. You are asking for a whole LOT of trouble and basically, almost no income (or none if you get banned).
It does make a huge difference where you live. In some countries $10 is a whole lot of money. Where I live, it take almost $50 for a decent lunch. No one would EVER make a game where I am, unless they were really rich, cared nothing about money and were borderline fanatical about their love of doing it.

Well, this is certainly a deep and inciteful (No, that's not a misspell. Think about it.) conversation. It's mostly over my head, but what I can say is that I've always done the best I could with whatever I was given. It can be as simple as that.

Although if it's still not your main income at that point you'd probably stop putting serious time into it eventually, assuming you ever did. Unless, of course, your main income stream is passive or requires very little work because you're a Rothschild or something. That's the impression I got from the dev providing us snippets about her life in the patreon posts. You gotta give yourself something to do, right?

I may release this week on Discord my "Red Domination" ending like I did "The Lone Ranger" but this ending is more complicated to post because it has alternative sliding scale type things that can insert different people as servants and stuff. I count ALL of this as "one ending" how I think of things, but this one ending has some variations that were dependent on some things. For example, it depended on both Kane and Angelica's morality, relationship to each other (dom Kane to sub Angelica, or true alpha couple romance, etc.) So I'll only be able to really post one good variation on it (I'll probably do the evil Kane/evil Angelica alpha couple one because I had the most fun writing it to be honest!) Minor spoiler on it...one element of it was Angelica having err special fun with Kane and having many of the Karlssons as human furniture which as those that know me best know...I really, really, like this specific thing personally which in a weird way makes sense for a designer I suppose. But this is rare for me. (kinks I adore in my own game personally versus kinks I think are good for the story) I also sincerely LOVED writing the evil dom path with demon Kane but yeah...it is what it is...not going to rehash that again. You never know someday when the game is all done...I've learned about Definitive Editions after a game is complete.


I don't want to keep my hopes high because first of all, this game completion takes 5 more years or more. And also, even that definitive edition has to be released in platforms like patreon, steam, ich which wont be possible according to her older posts unless she makes Red Domination as a very lame and softcore ending. If you doms want to believe her, I feel pity for you. That's it.

I highly doubt that. At the very least, her English is quite peculiar, and the meaning she puts into certain phrases is often not entirely clear not only to me, but even to native English speakers with whom I have the honor of communicating on this forum (and elsewhere).

If she's releasing this 'Red Domination' ending, does that mean it's scrapped like the Demon route and that 'Lone Ranger'? Surely she wouldn't spoil endings that will actually be in the game?

As for 'Definitive Edition' that might include the Demon flag, etc - that's not happening. The game should be finished in about 4-5 years, I'd say, and there is no way in hell she would keep working on it once it's finished (*if it's finished at all). It's not Cyberpunk 2077 situation, where we still get patches years after release. She will either move on to the next project, abandon the game or quit the gamedev altogether.
