For all your condescension, all you've done so far is argue MY position, which is to define female domination from the literal definition of the 2 words. Then I , based on that definition, said it's accurate to consider Karlsson's Gambit a femdom game. For the idiots:
Unfortunately most online dictionary sources (the good ones, including the OED, Theosaurus.com, Merrium-Webster are paywalled and require membership. Or you could, you know, just pick up a damn dictionary.
Oxford Leaner's Dictionary (if using their online search) only lists Dominatrix which, I'll explain, as you won't know this either, is from the Latin word dominator, which is the feminine form of the word dominat-, meaning "ruled". Dominat- comes from the verb dominari,
And guess what...femdom is derived from the forms Dom and femaleWho'd of thought huh...and is used in sexual activity. But hey, it's not like I'm actually educated on this subject (or English as a subject itself for that matter), so:
Like seriously, how many examples do you actually need? See the common theme? Sexual practices/activities? Cambridge, Oxford, Collins yeah, they all don't have a clue and are all wrong. Maybe in your fit trying to be right, you should perhaps write to all these organisations and tell them how they are wrong, So please feel free to continue arguing and swinging your dicks around amongst yourselves in a vain attempt to try and one-up me, but I won't be seeing anymore of your nonsense either way.You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. The disconnect seems to basically come down to you not considering most of the encounters in KG to be sexual in nature, which is an odd stance to take for someone that, I think, is also trying to rep for/promote the BDSM community. Many BDSM acts are not inherently sexual (bondage, humiliation, torture, etc.) but that doesn't change the fact that people experience sexual gratification from those acts and are considered to be sexual acts for its participants. I'm personally not in to being murdered by sexy women but there is clearly an audience of people into the K1 route that want to go out doing what they love. Also, as stated in my initial post, it's clear that the female characters in the game also view what they are doing as being sexual in nature and actively seek sexual gratification in their acts. Sexual domination is the core theme of the game. Without the sexual form of domination, you would just have Succession or any other TV drama about a dysfunctional family trying to fill a corporate power vacuum through more banal forms of domination, like threatening financial ruin or whatever.
Anyway, I'm done. I legit don't know why I responded in the first place but I think your tone just honestly got under my skin a bit. I'm a professional lurker so I'm just going to go back to doing that. Happy New Year yall.
