I'm aware... but that's not what I meant. According to Kane and Cole, Veronica supposedly speaks like Callista. Since there's no reason to assume that Callista's childhood was anything like Veronica's and yet they are both supposed to be near-superhuman geniuses, I think we can safely conclude that Veronica's odd way of speaking isn't due to her childhood but rather her genius intellect.
As far as I know, you can listen to interviews of any brilliant scientist and they don't talk like that. But Veronica isn't supposed to be just a brilliant scientist, she's supposed to be a near-superhuman genius of the likes that humanity has never seen before. Who can really say how someone like that would actually speak? I don't know, but I don't think Tess knows either. I think most of the dialogue that Tess writes for Veronica feels fine, but sometimes it comes off as just plain goofy. Not like a superhuman genius, but like someone trying to sound like a superhuman genius.
This week was an unusually busy week for design and I had to prioritize it a lot this week including a short trip to Los Angeles for about 36 hours (literally fly there, meetings, fly back pretty much after one night).

Secret sub is basically done now and shifting to the dom path this week so these are kind of the last images I likely show for secret sub. I will keep on the dom side until I get where I want to be, and that leaves sub side last with a few ideas on how much I want to keep/wait depending on a lot of factors.
I have also put together a preliminary gallery function for a future Steam version of the game, the current list of "scenes" are currently at a count of about 157. (It's kind of something to realize how much work I've done over the whole game looking back heh both renders/scenes and even just word count) I will be trying to allow people to filter by dom/sub/secret sub as one option, but also with specific characters if possible. What I am not sure on yet is how locked/unlocked it should be for players. I would be curious to hear feedback on this specific issue. Like unlocked if you get to the end of Episode 7 or just unlocked as you actually find them in game? Or options to choose from a menu?
Once I get into the dom path more, I will be feeling I'm turning on the last big road towards the light at the end of the tunnel (update out). I always end up doing a bit more than I wanted with render count, but I'm trying hard to be tight with things to get it out, etc. I appreciate the patience and support!
I am trying to arrange time in August to kind of "sprint" towards a faster pace which may give a clue where I think I am overall. I am always reluctant to give an estimated date before I am more confident (also in case of problems in testing or playing it that I really want to fix) about everything but I'm getting there.

Itch is popular precisely because of porn games and I doubt they weren't making more money because of it. Removing it is double edged sword for that site because people with money who went there for porn games won't be going there anymore and I agree it's because of those devs who sneaked in incest and rape genres but this also gives power to those corrupt credit card companies who want to ban anything they don't like which is even worse.

What happens in Joy Facility is definitely non-consent. I don't remember Kane signing in any of sort of consent form before participating in any of the numerous games he was a part of. Hell, he was blackmailed and coreced into joining the program. What about the other slaves who were killed by Juliette, Mercy, Charlotte etc? They all gave consent while in a safe and sound state of mind?
And if your point is that player deliberately got Kane into those situations, how do you defend Olivia? She can be played as someone who abuses and kills people. Did the slaves provide consent before being fed to the lions?
There's plenty of disturbing things in this game for someone to target if they want to.
