The entire discourse about censorship based on supposed "ideology" or religion or whatever abstract bullshit is irrelevant. Anyone who downloads a game and is aware of the content warning/s is consenting to see whatever is in there, regardless of how they feel about it after the fact. And as for fictional characters, including player characters, consent in a legal sense is inapplicable to them by definition. How much of mainstream erotic/romance lit features non-consent? How much of literature in general features non-consent? Yeah, no one gives a shit barring extreme examples like gratuitously featuring the Big Bad P-word, and not even then in certain cases e.g the classics are totally down with man-boy love.
It's not even about evangelist/"right wing" ideology. Simply put, continuous oversight is less profitable than chronic mass-bans followed by quiet reinstatement, ideally in conjunction with PR moves. The group that complained has no special influence over Visa/Steam/whoever. The reason it was met with a positive response is because Steam/etc were planning to clean house anyway and this was a convenient prompt/excuse. Needless to say corporations are totally indifferent to indie devs' feeeeelings about these chronic purges because 1> they usually get reinstated unless P-word or equivalent 2> ain't got nowhere else to go 3> even if they do leave, others will take their place since there's money to be made.
I bet it was even coordinated as many of these things are. I know there are these conspiracist notions about religious crazies but they are nice, pragmatic, upper middle class and wealthy white people. They don't want to take society back to the middle ages, simply because doing so would not benefit them in any way whatsoever. They have political aspirations and act on them pragmatically and within the bounds of modern bourgeois-liberal statecraft, just like anyone else. They know that nothing will fundamentally change and they don't want it to either. They want their piece of the pie and that's about it.
I’d imagine that for any character that is either a prisoner or slave would mean that it isn’t consensual. That is at least how the international court of justice views subjects such as police officers or prison guards leveraging their position over those that are legally in their care.In reality, every path has something non-consensual about it.
In the Dom Path, the Pod Girls are present out of obligation, like slaves. In the Secret Sub, while it seems to me that Kane accepts it, other slaves still appear along the way.
So you can always say "a magician did it" or it's all fiction, like filming a movie, just like the new "fixed" beginning of Photo Hunt.

Hi everyone,
First of all, I was contemplating posting about some overall macro level stuff on other sites, but I decided to respect Patreon and not mention other game hosting sites here. But I have made a post on Discord regarding other sites and adult content.
Second, I am planning to try and use part of August to take time off from design stuff a bit more to allow more focus on the game. That should likely give a hint about how I feel about where I am overall in the update.
Third, my total this week was 111 renders, which means we have crossed 2,500 renders and we are now at 2,504 total. This is a big crossing point for me, and I feel like I've got all the scenes I still want to add and I am trying to decide what to add/cut before trying to release. This is more difficult than it sounds because I always want everything in but also want to get something out so it's a push/pull constantly, etc. But I'll keep working on at least the next two scenes I am getting in for sure and then see where I am etc.
Fourth, I'm going to do a little bit of play testing this week to try and get a better idea of what I just mentioned above. I just want to get to a feeling of "ahh, seems ready" more than anything else.
My biggest stress/fear for later is actually wedding planning -- it's pretty stable and going well right now but I feel like it's going to accelerate in stress/time as I get closer and closer to December. So I am trying desperately to get an update out well before that kind of stress gets higher and higher.
But I'm happy that I feel like I'm getting closer and closer...

Almost everything here is perfect: the future Z5 Kane sits in his rightful place...the luxurious hall, and the only, and hopefully temporary, flaw is that the Karlssons are not yet on a leash and sitting at Kane's feet near his throne. But the scene is intriguing, and for now we can only guess at its meaning. Clearly, this is not a Board meeting. Perhaps this is the Karlssons' way of cheering up/motivating Kane again, showing him more clearly the possible growth prospects.

Honestly, the evil route makes me almost as sad as the sub route does but I think it would be great if an evil Kane can somehow convince Alessandra/Juliette/Olivia/Dominique that he will impregnate them all... and then whichever son is the worthiest will take over the company one day. This is definitely a major improvement to Alexander's plan.

I don't think she knows what Alexander really wanted though with regards to Kane (Callista's blood) though.
Personally, I think that if dom Kane and Olivia are both 'good' then I would agree with this being very unpleasant news (especially for Juliette) as Kane and Olivia becoming lovers is like the worst case scenario for her and she is like 100% going to die lol. On the evil path though, I don't think it's anything life threatening for her, even if she did say she wants to take over the company 'at all costs'.

Alessandra doesnt care about power so telling her that about a baby would do nothing for her. She likes staying behind the scenes and being a puppetmaster. If anything, she would work to get her chosen leader pregnant.
1) We don't even know for sure that she doesn't want to be in charge. She says she doesn't, but she's not exactly an honest person and she also says this:

It's very possible that she does want to be in charge, she is just hiding it while secretly building allies with the ladies of New Paris and pitting her own sisters against one another. Considering the fact that Dominique and Juliette are teaming up against Olivia, it would sense for her to keep her ambition hidden. According to the faction sheet though, she can never win the Gambit which seems to disprove this a bit. However, she can still become the leader of World State C, meaning she is willing to become the leader to protect her way of life if her back is pushed up against the wall.
2) More importantly though, not wanting to be the leader and not caring about power are definitely not the same things. After all, she has been pitting her sisters against one another (or at least been trying to) and been trying to get Olivia in charge. She very much cares about who is in power. To expand on this, her child eventually being in charge would likely be something that she would like. Why wouldn't she want that? And if Kane told her she's either off the board, or has to give him a child and have that child participate in the gambit... well, I definitely don't think she would give up her position on the board. And besides, as much as she goes on and on about female supremacy she seems to like being fucked by a dominant Kane.
Well, if what she's been saying is true, then that's exactly what she's been doing with Olivia. But her plans might have to change if evil Kane manages to get his way is what I'm saying...

Because from my understanding till now, Karlsson sisters need Kane or his child specifically for gambit. So Juliatte is like, if I can't have him then no one can type.
Personally, I like Juliatte most in KG. I'm going to play her path even if she asked Kane to kill Olivia to be with her.

The shot composition work of this dev is diabolically bad. Why is this bitch facing the character we are playing and flashing her unaccountably tanned gooch to us? And blocking the view to that other bitch that's doing something sexual. The awkward doll-like poses and thoughtless lighting ain't helping either.
Apart from the very unique blend of fetishes this game has almost nothing else going for it.
