Three questions:
1) if otto is super loyal to callista as he claims, why he is planning revolution with kiyomi? Because callista plan is to break the wall between decocks & karlsons and make even more big kingdom and free trade.
He is very loyal to Callista, yes. There's absolutely no reason to believe he is lying about that.
Callista is almost certainly involved with the revolution herself. Yvette says to Kane, "Kane...there's so much more to tell you. You'd be shocked at what we know...
and who is part of our efforts."
I think we can very safely assume that she was referring to Callista here.
2) is Cynthia actually a good person or a bad person? Because, we all know she killed a slave brutally and asked Delilah to clean the mess. And also suspicious to the MC and somehow fears that stefan is in a threat for succession to the throne of decock. And when she meets MC, her behavior sounded somewhat negative (particularly in sub path if you are k1pro, she actually criticizes callista's decision to put him under training but he is not nothing but a slave) now close to getting killed. She haven't talked with him like for say how nadia Or stefan talks with MC. Decock cousins are the best, I can even see some bromance going on with stefan. But, cynthia is kind of a grey character and she all of a sudden helps callista to meet cole by driving plane?
If Elena describes Cynthia as 'evil', then I'm ready to assume that it's true lol. Regardless we have a lot of evidence to suggest that Cynthia is indeed evil. Such as killing a man for spilling a plate of food. Or the state that her servant Lola is in. Or that she presumably raised Nadia who is very sadistic. Or what Otto said about her...
otto "I'm also glad you had the chance to meet my Mistress yesterday. Cynthia is not a consistently moral and honorable woman by any means..."
otto "...but in the end, a lot of who she is today was shaped by the historical forces around her. She probably was a wonderful woman...before."
p "Before what?"
scene e7otemple9 with mediumdissolve
otto "Before...she lost her faith in a lot of things."
otto "[pname], I am bound by an honor code and a promise to not tell you everything I wish I could...but that doesn't mean I can't do other things."
otto "And there are people...that see and mourn the corruption of both The Karlsson Group and The DeKock Syndicate."
3) Does callista really cares for son's struggles? I think callista just see her son as a person to survive and serve for emperor olivia as her sperm donor. As last he is only useful for cum collection (do you remember Dominique's plan?). She don't have great plans for her son except what I told you above. But thanks for dom paths, I'm very sure MC can write his own history and throw gambit plan into the trashcan.
Of course Callista cares about her son's struggles... There's so much evidence of this, but a specific and direct example of this is when she straight up tells Elena, "I love Olivia like my own daughter. But of course I worry about Kane. I feel great sorrow and regret about what he's gone through..."
Callista is in a tough spot and is doing everything she can. There's a lot of people that she cares about (Kane, Seth, Nadia, Cole, Veronica in particular) but the thing about what Callista is doing is that a lot of the problems intertwine, and they all intertwine in a way that they can help
all the people she cares about, especially Kane.
For example, from her perspective:
Helping Olivia also helps Kane and Veronica. Or at least, is supposed to.
Helping Kane also helps Olivia and Veronica. Or at least, is supposed to.
Helping Veronica also helps Kane and Olivia. Or at least, is supposed to.
These 3 in particular can help each other in massive ways. So it absolutely makes sense for Callista to try and help all of them, since the stronger that one of them is, the more they can help the other 2. If Olivia and/or Kane and/or Veronica ALL refuse to get along, it's not really Callista's fault. She did everything she could.
We have to consider the world order in this VN; it is, after all, FEMALE-DOMINATED! World history has taught us that good can be bad and bad can be good. There are plenty of examples! And even our current world order is anything but equal. In this VN, men are merely slaves, eking out a miserable existence for the amusement of the ladies, at their mercy. The sub-path demonstrates this impressively (I believe, since I don't play it). Even the Dom path isn't spared from this (yes, I've changed my mind here). A few men are "granted" the opportunity to "pleasure" the ladies in other ways. There's no other explanation for V having Kane "optimized" his penis. This raises the question: is Kane dominant in the Dom path? I say not. I'm much more inclined to believe that the ladies WANT TO BE "submissive", or just WANT to be fucked hard!
Err, kind of? Until pretty recently, The Karlsson Group was very, very much dominated by Alexander, and he was adamant he wanted a male heir to eventually run the company again.
As for the DeKocks, we know much less but we have all reason to believe that Stefan is next in line, so that's the 2 major places on this content that are to be led by a man.
Regarding Otto, this could possibly explain one of his motives for the revolution.
No, I think Otto is just a good guy...
Kwame said why he rebelled and it was because of the way they were treated in the mines... it was eating away at his soul.
Also, the leaders of the revolution are all women.
I don't think anyone is rebelling because they simply hate the idea of women being in charge lol
Regarding Callista, this explains Callista's strange behavior, especially as a mother. She values her foster daughter far more highly than her own flesh and blood.
She doesn't value Olivia over Kane, it's just that their positions (and what they can offer to one another, and what they need) are very different.
And I have no idea what sick plan she's pursuing.
lmao
