Yes, that’s exactly how I got banned on her discord server — when they saw a post I published in this thread that they didn’t like, lol. So yes, one of her assistants (most likely Anais, unless it’s her alter ego) is monitoring this thread and then reporting back to her.
From this, we can conclude that this thread and what the players write in it still matter to them for some reason. Maybe because here, unlike her discord, we have freedom of opinion, and everyone can express their opinion about the game without worrying about what the mod/dev might think.Well, let them watch — we don’t charge for viewing.

What are the odds? This isn't my most active thread though. Like I said earlier, most topics have already been discussed at length so it's mainly rehashing stuff, teaching people how to search for compressed, or the occasional troll.

Hi, this is my first post here on the forums. Just curious if anyone knows when the final version of the game is estimated to release. I finished episodes 1-7, but haven't played episode 8 yet, since I figured I'd wait for the full release and then replay the entire thing. Thanks!

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking...
-> You've already finished season 1 (episodes 1-7).
-> We're on season 2 (episode 8-?), but so far we're actually still on episode 8. This is because unlike earlier episodes, episode 8 is actually so big that it's been split into 3 parts. So far we've seen the first 2 parts of episode 8, but not the 3rd final part.
You heard something will be 'wrapped up' later this year:
-> Could be the Steam release (a re-release of episodes 1-7 for Steam). If it's supposed to be out later this year, idk when.
-> Could be episode 8 finally finishing (most likely what you heard).
-> Could be the Game Show that's been going on in the story, which I believe is supposed to conclude with episode 8. Though I could definitely be wrong about that.
tl;dr Episode 8 will be finished soon, Season 2 will not.

If im not mistaken tess said theres at least 3 more chapters and tess's updates arent chapter size anymore. At best we're five years from an ending

Likely not. Because Tess said, 8.3 is divided into two releases.
For first part 8.3.1, we haven't seen release yet, may be in oct-nov cycle. And 8.3.2 is not yet started.
Seems like, updates are dividing into more and more. Has she is doing it according to the primary script planned or she just going to stretch it as long as she can (for any reason), i don't know.

This right here would have been my favorite ending. Karlsson empire destroyed, probably along with the dynasty, and riding off into the sunset with Kiyomi. This would have made up for the fact that dom Kane has no Kiyomi scene in 5 years and sub had one 2 years ago probably.
