Did Tess ruin that atmosphere or did some of the more self-entitled dickheads on this site ruin it?

I honestly don't know, and I'm not going to wade through a 941 page thread just to find out. But I know I have seen this kind of stuff happen a ton of times before on f95, and it very rarely was because the developer was the one being unreasonable.

I'm not surprised at all. Tess ruined that atmosphere, that synergy between the players and the dev...gone are the days when we followed her every post related to the plot, when we participated in joint discussions with her in this thread and later in her Discord, discussing the plot and characters or offering our own ideas... All of that is gone now, and the magic of the game's charm has disappeared too.

So if her spies, who traditionally continue to monitor this thread, are sitting here waiting for us to start discussing the new test update, they're in for a disappointment...they'll have to wait another week or two.

It’s a real shame, honestly, because that interaction between a developer and their followers is essential. Besides getting real feedback (not just compliments), it also made this thread a pretty pleasant place. And, to be honest, I don’t remember being a bad atmosphere here, and I’ve been around for many years.

I lived through the whole EvilDom route removal and the unpleasant messages directed at her, although it’s true I didn’t really follow it closely. I just noticed a certain secrecy around it.

In fact, the game didn’t just grow; it was constantly being talked about, with people coming up with theories.

Tess, like any developer, has the right to do whatever she wants. And it must be tough to constantly receive rude comments from people hiding behind anonymity… But this community was healthy, damn it. The long-time members took care of the trolls, and then Tess would show up and, boom, back to theorycrafting. Those were good times…

Test release that just came out, I doubt most on here have played through it. I know I haven't. Her patrons discuss things on patron exclusive channels in her discord and not on here, tmk.

The vast, vast, vast majority of people playing the game don't care to obsess over it on a pirate porn forum. Only a handful of vocal people would do that. I'm sure the vocal people will discuss it after they play the final release, probably in a week or two.

I was a Patreon for, like one month, and I never used the Patreon or Discord channels. I like to read theories here, where people can speak freely. And tbh I find F95 a better place to discuss the game, there is more activity and so many people.

Even when I was a Patreon of other game for around a year I never used the Discord channel
What I want to say is: Yes, there are trolls and rude people, but my experience here is good, and people it's not just here to be rude, there are theories in most of the threads and people helping others with saves problems and stuff. It's not a bad place, F95 it's not that bad...

Anyway, I just haven't really done a proper play of it yet.
I played the Sub path a bit but didn't have much time at that moment and got bored and started skipping to see how scenes would generally play out really quick. I didn't think it was boring due to lack of content, just that what was there was pretty fan servicey with not a lot of interesting plot. Just kind of stringing one sub lewd scene to the next one.
Not really much variation in scenes from alignment except for if Claudia was demoness. There was a scene variation with Bob where apparently you could have screwed him over before meeting that I was struggling to remember how you get the flag to activate. Some choice prior to this update.

I quick read and skipped through the Dom one too because again, time crunch for me, but it seemed to have a bit more story and variation, especially for alignment. There was again, a flag I wasn't sure how you activate, the one that lets you do Olivia and Alessandra's room, but I was skipping through pretty quick.
It seems to be a theme that Juliette is just the "wrong" choice since you lose a game point for picking hers if I saw that right and what you get for it is joining a New Paris social group or something. Juliette was also the wrong choice on the sub path while picking the colored rooms in a previous update. Less points.
Dominique lets you get 2 new girls for your harem in this update for picking her.

Anyway, I'll give it a proper play for proper thoughts later.

Could be i never played the sub routes but its safe to say that the mc is not having a good time on those routes lol. On the other hand the dom routes are probadly the most hardcore dom routes i have ever played. Even me as a dominant person need to be in the right mood to play through them, the evil dom route can be really fucked up.

If you are sub path I think all of the pegging scenes toward MC are optional and you have to select them. And they are labeled for your convenience. I know it's the case for the last few updates, and if I remember right it's true for the early ones as well.
You just have to do a lot more licking.
But in general, the tone of the game is dystopia so on sub path you are treated pretty poorly.

Dom path doesn't get any of that.

If so, I'll guess that demoness things are required to get sistercourt then since that was the only block transitioning to the Olivia/Alessandra room scene from the prior throne room scene.
